After the bright light subsided and Sora and the others were clearly out of sight, Hayner, the bold leader of the group, stepped forth toward the small platform in which his friends had disappeared from. "...So, did it work?" the teenager questioned; his voice loomed in uncertainty.
Pence, still seated before the computer mainframe, looked to his friend, and he gave a small shrug in reply. "I...I don't know," he responded slowly. His eyes then darted to a concerned Olette, and his gaze met with the large screen once again. "But, I... think so. I can't confirm it with the other terminal."
Gripping the chair that Pence sat in, the girl bit her lower lip as worry grew for her newfound friends. "What does that mean, Pence?" she asked, anxiety grew throughout her being.
"As much as a I hate to say it, my guess is that it could mean computer in the second Twilight Town is shut down or broken," the pudgy young man announced unwillingly. He then turned to his friends, and a serious expression was written upon his face.
Letting out a gasp, Olette threw a hand over her mouth. "Oh, no!" she exclaimed, taking a step backward.
Hayner fiercely thrust a fist into the air as his emotions of shock and anger mixed. "Darn it!" the young man interjected, showing off his canines. "Will they be able to get back?!"
Pence's hands furiously typed away at the computer's keyboard, and several lights flashed on the screen. Silence took over the room as his eyes looked to the large computer, and his uncertain verdict seemed final. "Maybe...I don't know," the boy stated, releasing a sigh. "But the more I think about it--" He paused to draw in a long breath as his friends awaited his answer. A moment later, he spoke again, his voice was grim, "I think that without the other computer the trip is one way."
Once again, silence overwhelmed the three friends. Sora's future seemed undetermined, but it was certain that Hayner, Pence and Olette wouldn't allow such a bleak ending for their friend.

Emitting a grumble, the leader of the gang pounded his fist against his other hand, roaring, "Well, we're not gonna let that happen!" His two friends nodded in unison.
"Of course," Olette chimed, sporting a driven smile. "We've got to help them."
Pence offered a frown in reply. The task at hand seemed simplistic enough, at least to his friends, but the young man knew the reality of the situation. If the process was to fail, the consequences would be catastrophic.
"I get what you're saying guys," he complied, swinging the chair around as he leaned over. Perching his head into his hands, he continued, "But...there's not much we can do."
Nudging his friend in the shoulder, Hayner attempted to spread the optimism, and he insisted, "Ah, come on, Pence! This stuff is what you're good at."
Leaning back into his seat, Pence huffed as his arms folded across his chest. "Well," he muttered, glancing to his friends, "I guess I could try..."
Turning the chair to face the computer screen, the young man began to frantically type away at the keyboard, his fingertips peppering each key with a twitch of his wrist.
Curiosity began to gnaw away at the blond male, and strumming his fingers against Pence's seat, he inquired, a hint of boredom present, "What're you doing?"
Olette quick retorted as she lightly prodded the hot tempered teen's shoulder. "Give him a second, Hayner!"
Growling, he shot a glance to the floor while he foot began to shuffle against the metal beneath him.
Jumping to his feet, Pence suddenly exploded with enthusiasm, crying, "Aha!"
