Nickelodeon has announced a future MMO Avatar game that fans have been dying for since the beginning of the series. Find the article here. Known Facts- Game will take place before the series. Rumored 150 years before. - Originally designed as a fighting game, still offers a single player mode. Gameplay video could be found here. When I watched the gameplay video, it kind of reminded me of Assault mode from Star Wars Battlefront II.

If this really is an MMO, that is SO exciting, but from the look of it it seems to just be a regular online capable game... I was thinking more along the lines of WoW, but meh. The gameplay shown looks really great and I can't wait to see what they make of it.

They do say you could do more then just fight, like roleplaying.

Well, from the looks of the video it doesn't seem to be very MMORPGish. :-\ Not sure though.

Yeah, but the beta vid is Representative of what the game will be... I'm just saying it didn't look very RPGish, but like I said we don't know everything about it yet.

It was probably a beta from when it was being made as a fighting game. Either that or the people who announced it better learn just wtf mmo means before I puke.

I know, arena fighting does not equal MMO crazy people. xDDDD If THQ is involved in this, then we all know it'll suck.

Ugh, such a disappointment. :-\ And here I thought I was going to have to go out and buy an X-box 360 platform! XDDD

Also, I find this to be moderately fun. The combat is vague enough that any lag is pretty much unnoticeable, yet it's not as crappy as the combat in most MMOs.
Hardly an RPG, though, unless they plan to heavily update some things. In the 'How To Play' section, I noticed mention of missions; dunno where that's going, though.
(also copypasta)
Anyways I am having the hardest time logging in, I made a new "nickname" and whenever I logged in it doesn't show up the menu saying, "Training, Play Online, etc." It loads it fine, but it just doesn't shows up and then sends me back to the login screen. Logging in as a Guest doesn't work for me either.
Also why would you need a 360 system? PC > Console Games.

Like, before it was official, it was rumored that it would be released as a MMORPG on various platforms, so I thought I would have to get a newer platform to play it. But now, I guess not. Well, here I go, time to install!

Alrighty, after giving it a test whirl, I'm not too pleased over the game. There's little to no customization for characters, and the gameplay's not even close to thrilling. I'd rather see something far more developed than playing minor titles to give Nick's website some attention.

^Agreed. And it's hella slow too. I kept getting weird black screens that would go on forever.

Same here, it takes forever to load a single screen or even get back to the main menu. Legends of the Arena is nothing to go crazy over.
