So much stuff has been revealed! Here's what we know: (will be updated frequently)

In the Birth by Sleep Department:
Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep has been confirmed to be released in 2009 for Japan. Although there was no exact time given on when exactly it would be out.

The trailer for the game has been shown been show to the audience along with Final Fantasy: Dissidia. Aqua has finally made her appearance in the series with the trailer. Her voice actor has been said to sound like Megumi Toyguchi, the Japanese voice actress for Paine in Kingdom Hearts II.

• "Birth by Sleep's gameplay follows a familiar style. It is action orientated, but the quality is the same as the PS2 games. Attack with the circle button, use magic and special attacks with the triangle button. When the gauge fills, a unique special move can be used."
Note: X and O are reversed in Japan

Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep (PSP) DKΣ3713 Event Trailer Summary:

Castle courtyard, Aqua is dancing, Ven and Terra are watching. Someone approaches from the entrance, and the three gather.

Castle of Dreams.
Ven is running around holding a blue ball.
Lucifer (The cat in Cinderella) pounces on top of Ven.
Mouse yells, "Watch out! Run away into the house!"
(It's the mouse from Cinderella, not Mickey.)

Sleeping Beauty World (?)
Maleficent: "Those who do not have any darkness, seven of pure light――"
Maleficent: "To collect them, I must obtain all the worlds."

Inside a castle.
Aqua: "Is there a clue of Master Xehanort?"
Terra: "He is interested in hearts of pure light"
Aqua: "A heart of pure light..."
Terra: "We'll chase the light too."
Terra: "Master Xehanort should appear if we do so."

Snow White's World(?)
Snow White: "Oh! Who are you?"
Terra: "Aren't you surprised?"
Snow White: "Why?"
Terra: (I can feel the pure light...)
Terra: (After all, does this girl have a heart of pure light?)

In a dark place. (Thorns?)
Ven: "It's a lie..."
Aqua: "Don't be deceived!"
Aqua: "Terra isn't like that, you know that!"
Maleficent: "But the truth is harsh to hear."

Unknown Location
Aqua: "I'll ask again."
Aqua: "What was said to Ven was a lie."
Maleficent: "It was all true."
Maleficent: "Terra is ignorant of his power and falls to darkness."
Aqua: "Get out of here!"

Terra in Enchanted Kindom

Terra: "Is it the Unbirths* Master spoke of..."

Defeat the Unbirths*, move across a bridge, toward the castle.

Fight a boss called the Wheel Master and his demo ends.



Ventus in the Castle of Dreams
(Ven is smaller, similar sized to the mouse.)

Mouse: "It's the king of the castle."

Mouse: "All the daughters of the country are invited to the ball being held tonight."

Ven: "Does Cinderella get to go too?"

Mouse: "Well..."

Mouse: "Madame Tremain is wicked, she said without a dress, Cinderella couldn't go."
Ven: "It's that guy that called upon Cinderella a while ago."
Mouse: "Right, it's Cinderella's dream to go to the ball."

Mouse: "Everyday, she has to do the cleaning and the laundry, it's like another world to her."

Ven: "I know the feeling."

Ven: "Alright! Let's help make her dream come true!"

Mouse: "How will we do that?"

Ven: "We'll make a dress!"

Ven: "We'll look for the materials inside the house and tailor one for her."

Mouse: "Good idea!"
Mouse: "Well then, there is some white ribbon, pink thread, and white lace in the lower dressing room. Any of it will be good, so look for at least two."
Mouse: "I'll sew the dress right here."

Mouse: "Ven! Keep an eye out for Lucifer!"

Ven: "Lucifer?"

Mouse: "He's a ferocious cat!"

Mouse: "Take very soft steps around him."

Ven: "I got it, be careful."



After finding two among the white ribbon, pink thread, and white lace, there is a boss fight with Lucifer.



Shot Lock

You can use this special attack by pushing the circle button while holding down the R button.

Terra's is called a "photon charge" and Ven's is called "star burst".

The button advances like this: Fighting > Blitz > Burst > Finish.

Tidbits:

* Background music for the trailers include "Fate of the Unknown" for BBS, "The Other Promise" for 358/2 Days and "Destati" for Coded.

* Aqua is seen dancing with swords in the opening scene.

* There is a scene where Maleficent and Terra talk while Princess Aurora is sleeping, but I'm not sure what order it goes in.

* The trailer ends with Aqua fighting Dragon Maleficent.

* Bloggers are describing Aqua's voice as mature and wise, one went as far as to say it was manly.

It sucks that its coming out in 2009 for Japan because that means its even later for us, but at least we know new info. Thats good enough ...for now. *evil smile*

Who knows when it'll be coming out in 2009 though. It could possibly be like summer, which could mean a fall/winter release for us.

But thats too long of a wait. I want my BBS! I try to fill up the void by watching the mock ups, but that only increases my needs. The only good side to this (for me) is that it gives me a chance to save some money to buy a PSP.

And replaying KH1&II never gets old, at least imo. xDDD Reading the manga's a good way to fill the need for KH as well.

I agree about replaying the games, but I can't read the manga because I can't afford them. I even have to pay just to read them in the store. I was only able to get the first four books from the first KH.
