So, a few days ago, I was thinking about the various characters of Avatar, and while most of them have nearly prominent qualities of Mary Sues, there's one character that's the perfect anti-Sue: Teo. I mean, c'mon, he's got a real handicap, and he manages to go on with his life with it. He doesn't yield from a tragic past, save for the occurance of his handicap, and he's free of angst. Without a doubt, he's probably one of the few well rounded, least cliched characters of the show. Plus, I won't lie, he's just plain adorable. :3

Y'know what... I actually agree. Of all the characters, he really has the least amount of Sue characteristics. Sadly though, I find Teo a little bit flat; if they devoted more time to develop him he'd definitely be more rounded. I think they should explore him more in the future, they've got a good setup to work with as it is.

Exactly! That's the problem, they brought back all of these characters for the hell or it, and they didn't even dare to scratch their surface any more. I would have loved to have seen Teo as a frequent, recurring character.
