So, I found out that several people on Deviant Art are going to be producing a new finale, Zutara style. Apparently, it's confirmed that Dante Basco will, in fact, be redeeming his role as Zuko. As a Zutarian, I find it pretty exhilarating; and who knows? Maybe I'll even get my answers as to where Ursa is. Oh, cripes, I hope so. Here's a thread over at Avatar Spirit: forums.avatarspirit.net/index.php?topic=15598.0

Oh lord, the whole stupid "plothole" shit again.
Seriously, look up what plothole means.
Ursa is not a plothole, it's a loose end.

Where do you see me referring to it as a "plothole"? You're putting words into my sentences.
Regardless if you see the Ursa plot as a hole or not, there's plenty of stuff that I consider a plothole in this show. There was a lot of stuff that I considered random or useless, too. In fact, if I was given the opportunity to fix all the things in the show, I would jump on it.

So you hate loose ends then? Also there was a deleted excerpt remember, so they didn't forget.

Yeah, but don't forget, they took it out. They could've gotten rid of plenty of the The Phoenix King, especially the beginning, but they chose to keep the utterly useless stuff in it.
But, s'matter of fact, yes, I hate loose endings. They make me daftly ill.

Why do you hate loose ends? Do you hate cliffhangers as well? They keep the people in suspense, they allow speculation to continue and not close it. This is one reason why Star Wars has quite a big Expanded Universe, even though there is possibly more plotholes in that franchise than loose ends.
Anyways, there is still a majority out there that is quite happy with the loose end. Mostly because they are allowed to create their own stories. Also this gives the creators a great opening if they ever did want to come back to this series. Remember the rumors of the 12 episodes miniseries, possibly about Zuko finding his mother.

If they ever want to? Cripes, they're obliged to now. It's their duty, as this show's creators, to fulfill their story and tie it all up. If not, you bet I will. >:3 And, holy crap, if this is what Kataang's Book Four is going to be like, I smell a landslide victory. www.youtube.com/watch?v=9MGBla6Q3N8

Like you're supposed to do?
Also go tell Lucas that, I hear he has a problem.

Who the heck is Lucas? If they honestly stop making or even carrying on with the story, I'd rather see a massive Zutara orgy explaining the loose ends than leaving it as it is.
