Some of the actors have been confirmed, according to this article on slashfilm.com. Here is said article: www.slashfilm.com/2008/12/10/first-look-the-cast-of-the-last-airbender/...Seriously? Jesse McCartney? Don't get me wrong, I love his voice contributions to play Roxas (I really, really do), but I doubt he'd be suited for such a role. And this "Nicola Peltz", to play Katara, isn't exactly olive skinned. Where's the authenticity? :-\

I would rather save my judgment until I see a preview. Plus Katara and Sokka will most likely be brown via tanning or a good make up department. Good old fashion movie making, something people seem to dislike nowadays because they enjoy being retards. So I'm not judging until I see a preview. Teasers useally don't count.

The Jesse McCartney factor still kinda kills it for me, but like I said, he's still has props in my book for playing my Roxy (that's right, my Roxas). But I swear, the scar won't suit him... at all. :-\

He could probably pull it off, if you die his hair black or dark brown. He fits the part more than Basco, even though that is his voice. I hate him, plus he is an ex-Disney Channel pop whore who is basically an Aaron Carter ripoff anyways. Also who in the heck is Roxy?

His actual name is Roxas, and he's my favorite character from Kingdom Hearts ((I call him Roxy)). XDD Like, I don't know, I'd prefer seeing someone with more of an affirmative backbone than Jesse McCartney. He doesn't have Zuko's raspy, malevolent voice. As seen in this Kingdom Hearts II pre-release video, I doubt he'd suit him.

It's all different, it takes some getting used to obviously. But I guess this is his first breakthrough into films. Also this,

Wow, that doesn't look too bad. I still think his persona, voice, and attitude isn't very fitting for Zuko.

If you feel like their should be an all Asian cast for the movie. You are required by their law to visit this website. aang-aint-white.livejournal.com/ Apparently Zutarians are not the only ones unhappy by the final outcome. Also who is GanXingba and why should I care about somebody off of a video hosting website?

GanXinga does the Avatar: The Abridged Series dubs. Duh. I'm too concerned about the whole Asian thing, but the choice of actors bugs me. I'm not going to get worked up over a movie I probably won't see.

From MTV, here's Jackson Rathbone's take on The Last Airbender:

I'm not going to get worked up over a movie I probably won't see. I know who he is, however he is still just a regular nobody on the internet. Just like everyone else. Anyone who thinks they could get their way for something is just plain retarded. This still implies the Zutarians as well for wanting to change the series finally and possibly going to write Shyamalan letters on getting McCartney/Peltz together for live action Zutara. Also I have a feeling that M Night's daughter is going to be making a cameo. Maybe she might be Meng.

Y'know, considering that this Noah Ringer is a twelve year old kid and Nicola Peltz is at least fourteen years old, it might actually remind people that the concept of a twelve year old making out with an older teenager seems ridiculous.

More info! The young, pre-Avatar actor of Aang may, in fact, may have been cast. Who knows? Maybe the movie will dive further into Aang's past. Anyway, check him out: Sorry, guys, no name yet. And most likely, he looks like a younger version of Noah Ringer.
