Now according to LastAirbenderFans.com, Shyamalan is considering filming in Berks County in Pennsylvania. He is considering the Pagoda for the film and seeing as there was really just one Pagoda in Book 1 if not the series (as I recall), this obviously has to be Roku's temple for the film. If Shyamalan decides on this, shooting may begin earlier than March.

Ugh, now Shyamalan's just nixing quality. Go to Asia, that's where the real deal is. *snark* It's funny; the station coverage the news stated this on their website:
News reporters obviously don't look into things, do they?

Well remember... he is going to Vietnam. Also how many Pagodas in Asia will actually allow American filmmakers into their buildings? Unless of course it's Japan, I hear they have a boner for all things American. >.> Also ILM is doing the special effects as far as we know. They website hasn't even been updated yet. ilm.com/

I have a boner for all things Japanese, but, er, we all didn't need to know that.
From what I've heard, some countries in Asia are actually willing to let production commence in thier pagodas. It happens to give them some nice publicity.
