Now where are all of the guys on the island? Suki said they do not train boys, with except to a few other then Sokka I imagine. But that one guy was male. In fact, where are the regular earthbenders?
I could see why the Island relies on the Kyoshi Warriors, I mean they are most likely trained by Avatar Kyoshi and she trained the Dai Li. That should be an interesting match up.
Anyways, what do guys do on the Island? The only known males on the Island I've seen was the Foam-at-the-Mouth Guy and that one old guy. Even though Sokka being trained by Suki was a good foreshadowing for Katara being trained by Pakku.
What a minute, why was Suki more likely to throw out their culture, but the Northern Water Tribe seemed to hold on to it all they can? Either the Kyoshi Warriors trained boys before or they just do not care really. I guess the NWT being so large, they tend to hold their traditions more then some small rinking dinky island.
