What Was Lost
What do you do when the world stops? When everything seems to shudder and you are left to pick up the pieces, do you turn and run or do you stay and fight? Would you go to the ends of the earth and beyond to get what you loved back to the way it was? And if you knew it was all over, would you fight anyway?
Here we stand, the world in ruin, upturned by the fires of the nation that gives it birth. Sent into an age of war and upheaval that may never truly be settled without the complete and total destruction of a nation. The people who oppose them are fighting back, attempting to destroy them even as they rise in the power that they lust for. There are only few that dare to oppose their country within the Fire Nation, and those few barely come out of the shadows. Most are brain washed to believe that the world isn’t suffering, but instead being bettered by this war, but how wrong is that view.
The Avatar is now twenty, trying to ready himself to fight this threat, but still not strong enough to do what he must. A plot begins to arise that a plot is coming, one that will destroy the Air Benders, and many start to try to turn the tides. Aang, waits, ready for them to come, to try and do this, not fully understanding what it could mean for him and the rest of the Air Benders. They tried to remain neutral, but now they know that they must act, and so their peaceful nature hasn’t been abandoned, but for now they follow a path of justice.
Water benders have gathered their troops, ready to fight at all costs. Picking up their weapons, making their boats, and getting ready for the dogs of war to be released he has come in the movement of peace. All of them ready to die for this cause, ready to kill any fire bender that got in their way.
The Earth Benders lie shattered in the ruins of Ozai’s Comet. Attacking at the heart of the four nations the Fire Nation attempted to take out their greatest threat. Little, though, did they know that the Earth Benders wouldn’t go down without a fight. Their head strong attitude brought them through, and they have returned with an army the likes of which few have ever seen, and they are ready to fight. No price is too high, no pain too paralytic, and no sacrifice too holy to be cast aside in attempts to quash this uprising.
Still, the Fire Nation attacks, their attempts to take over the world coming ever so closer every day. The ferocity of the fire in their eyes burn the world, and they wait, ready only in the word.
