Hmm, interesting. Of all the cast members revealed thus far, I'm most pleased with her. She looks like a Yue.

What about Suki?
Also she could still be one that seems 'out of place' once everything is in order and the cast are in costumes.
The Water Tribe costume looks interesting and the two Fire Nation soldiers actually make it look like the show is coming to life.

I've yet to see the pictures, but I'm aware that production started.
Oh yeah, isn't the Earth Kingdom supposed to be Asian? If Suki isn't Asian, how does that work out?

I think EK is also a mix of Persian and/or Arab as well, considering Bumi's skin color and nearly all of the Southerners. But I've seen a shop of Jessica in Suki make up and she looks good. I'm sure they'll make Nicola look pretty come movie time, but if they did good with Yue and Suki, I cannot wait to see who they get for Ty Lee, Azula, and Mai.

Only Azula has a cameo in the first season, so I doubt they'll feature Ty Lee or Mai until the second film. And remember, Photoshopping and the real deal could be two different things.

Either way, I'm still feeling that the entire Earth Kingdom is going to be Asian. They'll just make up some lame excuse for Suki not being Asian.
In other news, finally saw Slumdog. I have to say it was a great film, and I did happen to like Patel's performance. BUT, unfortunately, I'm still not convinced that he'll make a great Zuko. It has nothing to do with his performance, rather, I'm just not feeling him as a Zuko.

I think Jessica is possibly half Asian, because she still looks like one of her relatives might have had some Asian decent. Also this film might not show much of the Earth Kingdom. Remember that some things might get left it, it would be nice to have Bumi since he helped with the liberation of Ba Sing Se in the end and it'll be nice to have some introduce for him in the movies, but whatever. This film is the Water Book, so I'll expect them to focus mainly on the Water Tribes.
Shyamalan has said once this film reaches post-production, he was going to start writing the script for the sequel. The only ones I am unsure of as of this moment (mostly because I have no idea who they really are) are Nicola and Noah. The main stars of the film. Jackson might do a good Sokka, given his pre-Twilight roles. I just wish Jason was playing Zhao, god damn it.
