"Sorry about hugging you to tightly, Sensei." said R.E.F.U. with a guilty conscience.

"Its just a sprain, nothing to fuss over." Shouei said holding his arm and trying hard not to be annoyed.

R.E.F.U. smiled and turned over to Kaido. "Sensei and I always go on exciting trips. One time we even got go to Goiin where all the Geishas live and we got to wear their pretty kimonos."

Shouei recalled that moment when they had to wear disguises to hide from government agents, but why did R.E.F.U. have to bring it up to a stranger?

[Beebs]

"Oh, really? That sounds nice," Kaido responded, not fully paying attention to the two's words. He was instead focused on the noise he thought he heard just outside of the rubbled lot. He decided to bring it up by adding, "Do you two just hear something out there?"

[zukobaby]

"I think so." R.E.F.U. said listening.

"Just what we need: more interfearance." Shouei grumbled.

[Beebs]

Kaido scanned the grounds around them, not noticing any one else. He heard a rustling noise; the same noise from before. His ears perked to the sound coming from the west side of the ruins and pointed towards the wall he had been hiding before. "Over there," he said aloud.

[zukobaby]

"R.E.F.U., stay here." Shouei told R.E.F.U. before going to investigate what was causing the noise.

[Beebs]

"Don't worry," Kaido said kindly to the young boy, turning back the the west end and developing a determined expression, "I won't let anything bad happen to you, or him. You've shown me kindness and I plan to do the same." he began to form a ball of energy in his hand, in case he needed it.

Shouei walked through the ruins of the dome. When he saw what was making the noise, even he couldn't help but smile.

As R.E.F.U. anxously waited, Shouei finally stepped out with a little girl no more than six (yet with a severe case of microcephaly, you would've guessed she was around two.)

"Whats that?" R.E.F.U. asked out of curiosity.

"She was what was causing all the commotion. I think she might be lost."

OOC: The little girl is just gonna be temporary.

[Beebs]

The energy in Kaido's hands disappeared and his lowered his arms down to his side, smirking. He once again nervously scratched his head and blushed, saying, "Oh, well, I guess I overreacted."

"Where did she come from?" R.E.F.U. asked in curiosity.

"Once we return her to her parents, we'll find out."

[Beebs]

"How do you plan on doing that?" Kaido curiously asked, scratching his head, "I mean...how will we be able to find her parents? She still looks like a toddler, so I doubt she knows where they are."

"I don't think we'll have to look far from this city." Shouei began to explain, "After Pikadon was dropped on Hiroshima, many children were born with genetic defects. This little girl has microcephaly; probably due to rearangement of DNA when her parents were exposed to thr bomb's radiaion."

"You mean like how the Lab used radiation to give me powers?" R.E.F.U. asked.

"To a less extreem extent, yes."

[Beebs]

"Oh, I see," Kaido said, observing the girl and nodding his head, "Well then, I guess we better start looking."

Meanwhile, Dawn cried out in frustration as she collapsed backwards on to the cold, metal floor. She started kicking her feet and said aloud, "Oh man, this is so boring! I want to do something meaningful!!"

"Something meaningful, you say?" a mysterious man's voiced asked from behind Dawn.

Dawn jumped up and screamed in fright, startled by the man that spoke. As she caught her breath, she blushed, covering her face in embarrassment, saying in a slightly muffled voice, "Oh, I'm sorry, you scared me."

"It's quite alright, my dear," the man, with thick gray hair who appeared to be in his late fifties, softly said, "If anything I should apologize. But more to the point, you say you wish for a more interesting assignment? Well, I think I have just the thing. You see, there is a group of people somewhere in the city, two of which have amazing scientific abilities. I think that perhaps you should observe them."

"Really?" Dawn curiously asked, "But what about my administrator? She assigned me to this, wouldn't she be mad?"

"Oh, don't you worry about her," the man replied with a chuckle, "I greatly out rank her. I'm a general, after all. If she complains I'll show her what's what. Now, here is everything you need to know to be prepared and find these people." The mysterious general handed down a brown case file. Dawn nervously accepted it and began to flip through its pages.

"Oh wow," she remarked, "Thank you so much for this opportunity. I'll head out now!"

She soon rushed out of the room after the subjects, abandoning her previous project, and the general showed a sly grin.

"Oh, I see," Kaido said, observing the girl and nodding his head, "Well then, I guess we better start looking."

As they went searching, the little girl got tired of walking, so Shouei decided to carry her all the way.

"Aww, thats so nice." R.E.F.U. said in response, "...How come you never carry me like that?"

"You're too big to be carried and there's a double standard for one man carrying another." Shouei said as the little girl took his glasses and put them on herself. "You're gonna give tse back soon, right?"

R.E.F.U. then began eyeing the city; not just to look for the little girl's parents, but also because he fet a presentsstalking them. "Are e being watched?"

[Beebs]

Kaido looked around, searching for the sight of a spy, and replied, "Y'know, now that you mention it...I kind of feel that slightly paranoid-creepy feeling you get when someone is staring at you..."

[zukobaby]

"You're probably both just a little paranoid after our last encounter." Shouei said finally getting his glasses back from the little girl and pushing it back from the rim of his nose.

R.E.F.U. turned his head though and saw in the corner of a building what seemed to be someone with blue hair.

"Over there!" he pointed.

[Beebs]

OOC: Ok, I'm assuming sine I never put Dawn out there and the fact that Dawn has blue hair, that this isn't Dawn. xDD Ok.

"Not again," Kaido thought to himself, readying another energy ball in his hand. However, he concealed it as best he could, since they were now in a more public place.

OOC: Sorry. I was thinking that since Dawn sounds like an American name that she would at least be part American and in many anime, a lot of their foreigners have blonde hair.

"Not now." Shouei warned Kaido. "We've got a kid to returned. We'll deal with whoever is following us later. Now come on." he then pressed on.

[Beebs]

OOC: It's alright. I mean, my description said she had aquamarine hair and narrow eyes so...xDDD But she hasn't even started following them yet, so I was just saying it couldn't be her.

"Are you sure?" Kaido curiously asked, letting the energy disperse, "What if that person knows the little girl?"

OOC: Okay

Shouei began to think about it.

"Nope. Lets go check out some of the shelters first."

So they went over to where the bomb had its worst damage. They asked, but no one could identify who their little friend was or whether her family was around.

"Well, we've given that a try. We can still look in other places that have had a hard hit."

"Why don't we ask the person following us?" R.E.F.U. sugguested.

"WE'RE NOT ASKING THEM!"

OOC: o_0 Why did he just shrug it off like that?

"Why are you being so stubborn?" Kaido asked contently, "I mean no disrespect, but that person is following us for a reason. What better reason to follow someone than seeing they're with someone you know?"
