OOC: Hmm, didn't put advanced hearingdown in my diescriptions, but now that you mention it, he DOES have heightened senses.
R.E.F.U. gasped as he heard a loud noise in the background. "Someone's there!" he ran behind the building to find a young woman staring at him.
Shouei followed afterwords. He saw that the lady was carrying government files and thought to himself, "Great. Once someone FROM the government is spying on us, its too late."

"Are we magnetic today?" Kaido said sarcastically, rolling his eyes and forming a concealed ball on energy in his hand behind his back.
Dawn's eyes began to water as she burst into tearing, pleading, "Oh, I'm sorry, I'm SORRY!! Please don't tell my supervisor! she'd be really mad!! My first real assignment and I blow it by sneezing!!"

"Wait just one moment R.E.F.U." Shouei stepped forth to the lady. "Who was it who gave you this assignment?"

Dawn wiped the tears from her eyes and answered, "It was...well....I don't know."
Kaido raised an eyebrow and questioned, "How do you not know who gave you the assignment?"
Dawn put a finger to her lips in thought, replying, "Well, I don't know his name. He said he was a general and I was so bored, so when he told me about doing something exciting, I jumped at the chance. Come to think of it...he never even proved he was actually who he said he was...OH NO! I've been scammed, deceived, lied to!! Oh, I'm going to be in so much trouble." She began to softly sob again.

Dawn looked up at the man contently, seeing in him what she saw in her father, and nodded, complying, "Mmhmm, I promise."
"I'm going to use up my energy if I keep at it like this," Kaido thought, letting the energy ball formed in his hand dissolve. "Well then," he said aloud, turning back towards the road, "We should probably get going, since they apparently know where we are now."
"Wait!" Dawn urged, getting up from her kneeling position on the ground, "You all aren't leaving me, are you?"

"She's not a dog, you know."
"But she needs our help and we can't just leave her."
Shouei sighed. "Fine, but this better not lead to you keeping a giant lizard as a pet."

Dawn's eyes widened as she jumped into the air and bellowed, "Really?! Oh thank you so much! I won't be any trouble at all! this is so great, now I can study your powers all the time! It's going to be so cool! Hey, how exactly does it feel when you do your energy manifestation? Oh, and you, any idea why your hair glows? Do you powers often isolate you from people? How hard is it to control of all these abilities?? Is it too--" Dawn began to drift off into inaudible words and soon her face turned blue and she collapsed backwards on the ground, retaining a grin on her face.
"Well, she sure is interesting," Kaido said with a smirk.

"Wherever the road might take us." Shouei replied, "With the government following us, it seems its unknown where we might head to next."
R.E.F.U. then reached in Shouei's coat pocket and pulled out a map. "You have it marked down for Kyoto."
Shouei took the mak from R.E.F.U.'s hand. "Thank you for bringing up my dyslexia."

"Kyoto?" Kaido nervously asked, "We're going to?"
"Hey wait," Dawn interjected, with a curious expression on her face, checking her files, " Isn't Kyoto were you were first discovered, Kaido?"
"Yeah, it was..." He replied, staring down at the ground.

"It's alright," Kaido solemnly stated, continuing to stare at the ground, "Discovered as in where they found out I had powers. I was help healing a wounded man in Kyoto with my energy. There were men in suits there watching me. Every since then, it's seemed like I couldn't escape them; everywhere I went, there they were. For a while though, it seemed like they finally stopped, but it started up again today..."

Shouei sighed. Knowing R.E.F.U.'s naiive innocence, there would be no doubt tot hem getting into trouble. "Lets just go."

"Hmph," Kaido sighed, lowering his eyes as the group go off the boat they used to travel to Honshū Island, "Just wait until you see the graveyard..."
"The...graveyard?" Dawn curiously asked, scratching her head," What do you mean?"

"This city has been around since the Heian period (794-1185 AD)," Shouei stated, "so there's BOUND to be more tombstones than the curent population."
"So there are ghosts here that are hundreds of years old." R.E.F.U. concluded.
"If so, they're probably not gonna bother us."
"So don't believe in ghosts?"
"What I believe is that when you die, your body decomposes until nothing but carbon is left of you."
R.E.F.U. pointed at Shouei and shouted, "SENSEI'S AN ATHEIST!"
"I'm not an atheist," Shouei said annoyingly, "I just take a scientific approach at understanding the world. Look, if you want to go see the graveyard, its fine, but no more talk of ghosts, alright?"
