I know this is old news, but still, this crap is CRAZY!! www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2007/09/18/wkerry118.xmlwww.youtube.com/watch?v=SaiWCS10C5sI just....it's so.....argh. I mean, sure, he seemed like a kooky conspiracy theorist that was having a fun little out burst and should of just given up the mic, but tasing him was a HUGE step too far. No wait, security dragging him away was a step too far. They already cut the mic and had they given him a chance, he looked like he was going to just walk away, not storm the stage or pull a gun, in which case tasing would be the appropriate action. Seriously, the guidelines for that university's security really need to be evaluated. They guy should definitely press charges. After all, he didn't really do anything wrong. However, there is another theory going around that he did it for attention, expecting to get tased, but idk...

I actually live in Gainesville, Florida where the University of Florida is located. The University ISN'T well known for its bright intellects as opposed to Santa Fe Community College (the same college I go to in the same city, not in New Mexico), so I sorta wasn't surprised something like this would happen there. I personally don't know this guy, but either way, whether it be real or staged, its all VERY stupid what had happened. -_-;;
Also, even if he WAS causing trouble, Kerry DID say he would answer his question. You can't tase against free speech, even if you don't like it.
