Is anyone else here suddenly interested in mythology? This includes any monotheist religion (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, etc.). What is your favorite mythological God, Creature, Hero, etc? Mine will probably have to be Lucifer and Lilith. The fact that both of them were viewed as good and then became evil on society today is really interesting.
For those of you not familar with the Lilith myth in the Torah and I believe the Qu'ran. Eve wasn't the first woman, there was another one who was Adam's first wife. She was made from the same earth Adam was and constantly argued with him over equality. What would seem like a heroic move for her then turned her into a succubus who comes though men's dreams giving them "wet dreams" and she represent Men's desires. She also vows for revenge by killing innocent children.
However other cultures believe in Lilith in a more positive view of her. Some view her as a good spirit that watches over children. So I constantly wondered why she would be transformed into an evil spirit, differently if she represents something we today value. Equality among the genders.
Lucifer is even more surprising, he was once the Roman God of the Morning and Evening Star, the Bearer of Light. Amazingly there seemed to be a ton of references in the bible about Lucifer. I am not entirely sure, but maybe someone here could explain this. Apparently there was a King by the name of Lucifer and that Satan rarely makes an appearance, only once as Beelzebub (lord of the flies). Here is something that might freak you out a little bit. The Bible often times referred to Jesus as the morning star. Also solve this little puzzle below.
What do these numbers spell?

Now what do they add up to?
Now what do these numbers spell?
12, 21, 3, 9, 6, 5, 18
What do these numbers add up to?
Answer:
What is your favorite mythology and what do you think about Lucifer and Lilith? I think I might even named my children Lucifer and Lilith. They really are pretty names. That is of course if I have a set of twins, one boy and one girl.
