Axel's Connection

Alright, I've been replaying KHII and I recently did the portion of the game when you fight alongside Axel. He said some quite interesting things that I didn't really pick up the first time around.

Axel says something along the lines of: "Roxas made me feel like I had a heart. Funny, I kinda feel the same way around you--"

So, one would assume that he feels that way around Sora because of his connection to Roxas, but why is it Axel had such a deep connection to Roxas in the first place? Roxas is Sora's nobody, so Axel having this connection to Roxas could mean Axel's somebody had a connection to Sora. But who could this be? Care to propose any theories?

Maybe Axel's somebody is somehow related to the keyblade war. Ven could have possibly met Axel's somebody during that time.

Very possible. It's possible this could be a tie in for the reason Ven looks so much like Roxas. So this seems to mean that Ven has a connection to Sora...hm...I think until we know more about BBS and Axel's somebody it's going to be hard to determine the connections. There doesn't seem to be many roots to expand upon...like it would all just be guesswork.
