Simply post the last movie you saw in this thread. Preferably with comments.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban I started watching the movies again for the hell of it. The first two were pretty awful, but the third was so good, it actually rejuvenated my love of these series and made me start reading the series again. This one shows just how bad a director Chris Columbus can be. xDD

Well...double post then...
The Mist Some of the worst acting I've ever seen from the stars in their whole career, along with an ending that made me want to puke. I get that it was supposed to be tragic/darkly ironic, but come on...that just pissed me off.

Fullmetal Alchemist the Movie: Conqueror of Shamballa
Great, great, great. The movie is totally awesome! The art's very impressive, and it makes up for the ending of the series. Al's adorable, 'nuff said.

Even though it wasn't technically the last one, it was recent.
Donnie Darko Very, very good. it's very strange and very addicting. I've seen it twice in a 3 day period. xDD

Lol, um, Bee movie. xD I thought it was gonna turn out crappy, but it was actually really funny. I especially laughed when the girl crashed her plane into a rock and died. :3 Oh I saw the mist. Yeah that movie was bad, especially the ending, it made me want to kill myself just like they did. xD

Knocked Up I've seen it before, but watched it again today. Very funny, sweet, and entertaining. I don't care how much of a bitch Katherine Heigl may be in real life, she's a really good actress. xDD

The Invisible It was much more boring than I thought it would be. The storyline was pretty good, but it wasn't executed very well.

A few recent ones:
What Happens in Vegas - A lot funnier than I thought it would be. The Golden Compass - Again, I enjoyed it much more than I would expect. 27 Dresses - You seeing a pattern here? xDD I liked it more than I would've imagined. The Village - Saw it back when it came out and thought the twist was lame, but I rewatched it and found myself liking it more.

^lol Corpse Bride Absolutely EPIC, imo. Definitely in my top 3 movies of all time. (Not so much into the cliched Oscar ones myself. )

I would have to say Bleach: Memories of Nobody. I was so cool. I also even saw a guy wearing an Urahara hat and a girl wearing a Kon hat. That was awesome.

Just finished 'The Nines' with Ryan Reynolds. Super special awesome movie. It's like 'Donnie Darko' meets 'the Matrix' meets 'the Truman Show' meets 'the Number 23.' I highly recommend it... damn, I can tell I'm going to be thinking about it for days.

Now for a gift from my bro's girl, she paid for our ticket to see the new film WALL-E. This movie was awesome and was very well written. There were a few flaws as in all kids films usually. My main post contains spoilers, so don't read if you do not want to spoil the movie for yourself. I really like how all of the humans were fat and were lazy showing just what would happen if robots did take over basic things in humanity's every day lives. There was one little problem. There will always be humans that want to be in shape. Also where we the people that maintain the robots from repairing, they are needed.
WALL-E was a really well designed robot. He is basically based on a box. Eve was a typical science fiction robot. WALL-E was also a cute robot as well and really made you feel for the character when he almost died. This movie problem out did every single character based story Pixar has ever did. Even Cars and Ratrore(sp?).

Actually, I think that was the last movie I saw, too. I went to see it with my boyfriend last week, and we both loved it. Such a great movie! It's definitely my favorite Pixar movie next to Finding Nemo. :3

I wonder if one could possibly create WALL-E on the editors in the game Spore. I mean he is kind of easy, just start with a box shape. But Eve seems to be the more logical choice seeing how she has weaponry. Make her and use her as a tank.
