At BB Valentine's request, I have created this discussion thread for my RP.

Thanks. ^__^ Anyway, I tried to interject Iroh, but during the time when I was writing it, Sarcasmic posted, making my post no longer make sense. So, I edited it to say that I was going to be updating mine to make sense, but then Sarcasmic posted again, along with Brynna, which made it practically impossible for me to make a good post; y'know, because it'd be in the middle and well....yeah, you get it. So, I decided I might drop out, then everyone started claiming my characters, which I didn't intend...so yeah, that leaves us here. xDD Any idea how I can bring Iroh and Tylenol ( ) into it now? (I've got my others covered, as long as Iroh and Ty lee can be brought in)

Iroh will mainly be an advisor, since Zuko is the one who's claimed the throne. Offer your advice on battle plans, maybe lead a unit of soldiers from the rear.
Ty Lee will be by Azula at all times, so you can interact with her anytime you like. I mainly wanted to claim the character because of an idea I had. If you want to know more, PM me.

Well, I kind of knew that....I meant how can I bring them in now...

Well... Azula is planning to grab a bunch of hostages. Someone who can easily disable people would be needed.
There's also an offensive on Zuko's territory planned, and Azula would logically bring her guard on campaign.
After that we can have a lull in the fighting and Ty Lee could convince Azula to take a day off with her.

Okay....but I wasn't exactly having that much issue with Ty Lee, although what you suggested is helpful. I'm more concerned about Iroh...so much is going on right now with them....it would seem forced/awkward to bring him in at the moment.

Have him propose ideas for where to fight next. That way you have a way you can influence the course of the RP. After all, Iroh has more experience fighting in the Earth Kingdom then anyone else.

Right, that's sort of what I did the first time around....only to a much lesser extent. xDD But I was talking to Sarcasmic, and although I don't see it myself, he said that he's been trying to include Iroh into the scenes...so I don't know if he's already there or if the posts even make sense...*sigh*

Just post. You can worry about changing things later. That's why there's an edit button.

Just post. You can worry about changing things later. That's why there's an edit button. Posting things that don't make sense are only going to either confuse future posters or mess up the RP. It's the exact same thing that happened why I tried to post the first time. o_0

Edit. Button. If you post more then once every few days, you ought to do fine.

Edit. Button. If you post more then once every few days, you ought to do fine. Someone posting something then changing it messes up OTHER posters. If Event A happens then you change it to Event B, the person that posted after you would still have Event A and would have to change it; it would be like an unsightly chain reaction.

... *tension in the air* I did try.... in usually RP... you don't just start right into war.... you try to include others in. {thus the comedical line, Where were you 20 minutes ago?} Don't forget Zuko depends on Iroh emotionally, as well as War counsellor.

Well, how about this: Zuko gives his various generals seperate commands in different parts of the Earth Kingdom. That way, you can all manage things differently, and any lags in communication can be handwaved as delayed or killed messenger hawks.

That way, you can all manage things differently, and any lags in communication can be handwaved as delayed or killed messenger hawks. Okay, look, I'm not concerned with how to handle myself within the RP, I need to figure out a way to actually introduce the character. Bringing Iroh in now would be too awkward. When I tried before, due to the insane rate this RP goes, someone posted before me. Iroh was responding to a conversation that was then irrelevant. I said I was going to change my post, then people kept posting after, making it impossible to change my post accordingly because they were posting in response to the post I needed to change because of...*gets dizzy* @__@ I don't want all that happening again, which is why I'm asking how I should do it...not Iroh's role in the RP, not Ty Lee's position, but how to actually post and say "Oh look, Iroh's here now"...Sorry if I've been unclear. -__-

Fine then. I've got an attack planned. I'll write it out, and Iroh can deliver the news.
