Hope this goes far! ^^
In a town called Mountain View, several families live in harmony, or so everyone thought. While each family thrives and appears seemingly normal, some strange things begin to occur after one particular family, the Hodges, is deprived of their daughter who mysteriously vanished a year ago. Now, as things begin to turn back to normal, Anne Hodges, mother of the ill-fated family, suddenly miscarries her unborn child. However, the Hodges aren't the only ones suffering in this small town.
In this RP, you play as a family in Mountain View, and you can have as many as six characters! There's pretty much no rules, but while there's some cursing involved, no strong language is permitted. Have fun! We'll start once we have at least two families. Here's the CS.
Name: Age: Gender: Role in Family: Biography:
Here are my CS.
Name: John Hodges Age: 43 Gender: Male Role in Family: Father Biography: John is a bit stubborn. He has a strong family lineage which he bestows on his son. Ever since his daughter's death, he has been entirely the same. His love for Anne is questionable.
Name: Anne Hodges Age: 39 Gender: Female Role in Family: Mother Biography: Anne definitely loves kids. Ever since she was young, she wanted a large family. But, with recent events, she has gradually become very heartbroken with the disappearance and death of her children. She is greatly attached to her husband.
Name: Benjamin Hodges Age: 13 Gender: Male Role in Family: Son Biography: Benjamin, better known as Ben, is very active and he aspires in soccer and football. He can be a real handful but he is very obedient around his father. His grades are very impressive.
Name: Rachel Hodges Age: 9 Gender: Female Role in Family: Daughter Biography: Rachel takes after her mother and is very friendly. She enjoys playing the piano and like many little girls, she wants to become a singer when she grows up.
Be sure to join! ^^

(ooc: Sounds more like Pleasantview on The Sims 2. LOL XD)
Family Biography: The Mitchell's are an Atheist family that has moved from the big city to the small town because they got tired of the hustle and bustle that comes with life in the big apple. They often times get discriminated against for being atheist, but they just ignore the people and move on. Being Atheist hasn't effected their lives, but it really helped them coop with life. Janette still has friends she calls daily and she hopes to make new friends, Samson is still able to find work and Ellen will love her family always.
Name: Samson Mitchell Age: 47 Gender: Male Role in Family: Father Biography: After life in the big city, Samson decided to settled down with his wife and his lovely daughter in a small town. He enjoys sports and fixing up cars most of the time. He can often be seen in the living spending time with his family whenever he isn't bringing a piece of crap car in for fixing.
Name: Ellen Mitchell Age: 45 Gender: Female Role in Family: Mother Biography: The wife of Samson, Ellen has pride in being the perfect housewife to her husband. He loves him with all of her heart and appreciates every little thing he does for her. Ellen enjoys Art and Cooking, rather that be viewing paintings at the museums or painting one herself. She hopes to sell a masterpiece one day so that she could be immortalized in a museum along with other classy artwork. She always enjoys learning new recipes and cooking for her daughter and husband.
Name: Janette Mitchell Age: 16 Gender: Female Role in Family: Daughter Biography: Janette is your typical teenage girl. She enjoys going out with her friends and making new ones. However she doesn't wish to be a socialite, seeing how she believes having too much friends is too much to handle. She is often times a tomboy as she often times prefers wrestling and video games which are often times considered "boy interest." She just wants to enjoy life while she is young, because she realizes that when she dies that is the end. A teenager's life is most comforting to her at the moment.
(damn it XD)

We'll start right now, if you'd like. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- The scent of breakfast was even present in the Hodges' parents' bedroom. While John was still sleeping, Anne was making a hearty breakfast for her family. A smile was always on her face. The woman's husband finally woke up for he was supposed to be at work in less than 2 hours. He walked downstairs, passed his children's bedrooms, and he made his way into the kitchen. Anne was already awaiting his arrival as she had already placed a plate of eggs and bacon on the table for her husband. "Good morning honey!" she said happily. She gave him a kiss on the top of his head John grumbled under his breath and he started to eat his breakfast. Ever since his daughter's disappearance John had never been the same and his wife also felt the same way. Anne truly missed her baby, her first born. Still, life had to go on for the sakes of their other children.

((OOC: I feel like we need some kind of Mary Alice commentary xP))
Ava approached the teenager's room, banging her flattened hand on it a few times before calling out, "Rise and shine pumpkin pants, you've got a bio test today and we all know you just can't wait for that explosion of super fantastic fun."
The white door soon swung open, revealing a disheveled Naomi who simply glared at her mother, guarding the view of the typical room of a not-so typical teenager. "Did you just call me 'pumpkin pants'?"
"I sure did waffle waist," The grinning woman responded. "I'm taking the 'food alliteration pet name challenge.' I hear it's all the rage in L.A."
Naomi merely gave a half smile, not particularly amused by her mother's antics today. She began to head across the hallway and down the stairs, closely followed by her mother. She sniffed an aroma in the air and questioned, "Did you make bacon?"
"Heh, well, I attempted to, but was soon mocked by the dead pig; he claimed I couldn't fry him half as well as the farmer could butcher him. So, instead..." Ava's voice trailed off as the two made their way into the kitchen and the eldest moved over to the toaster. Two pastries soon popped out. "Soup's on!"
Naomi smiled a little more this time and took one of the tarts, which was now wrapped in a napkin, from her mother, curiously staring at it's color.
"It's supposed to be S'mores flavored," Ava quickly added. The girls both looked at it for a moment before they each took a bite. Their faces soon cringed and they both simultaneously spit it into their napkins. "Oh my God, that is by far the nastiest thing I've ever tasted this early in the morning. Well, except for your father's--"
"Mom!" The teenager interrupted, shaking her head in disgust.
"What? I was going to say English Muffin." Ava smiled, taking another bite instinctively; she soon spit it out again. "Ugh, now I know why they say don't eat candy for breakfast."
"I gotta go," the teenager interjected again, swooping up her bag from the dining table.
"You sure you don't want me to make something else? I think we still have some of that mysterious German cereal..."
"Nah, it's fine. I don't want to be late." She walked up to her mother, kissing her on the cheek. She then headed to a screen door which led outside and added, "Don't have any sexy gardeners over while I'm gone."
"Only the naughty plumber this time, I swear," Ava replied, but her daughter was already out the door. She frowned slightly, thinking to herself, "What is up with that girl? She's been so different lately..."

OOC: xD
------------------------------------------------------------
"Kids! Time for breakfast!" Anne called for her children. She continued to smile as she heard her children get out of their beds. Ben was the first to walk down the steps and into the kitchen. He rubbed his eye vigorously, to ensure he was wide awake for the day. He was an obvious spitting image of his father.
"G'morning Mom. G'morning Dad." he murmured before fully opening his eyes. He sat himself at the table and began to feast upon the pile of pancakes his mother had made. His younger sister Rachel soon followed after. She dragged a stuffed animal in her left hand, and she looked utterly exhausted. Without a word she sat down at the table and quietly munched on her food. Anne finally sat down and began to eat as well. In great bliss the Hodges family sat together in unison as they ate their breakfast.

Richard Langley grunted, flipping the page as he read his morning paper. He took a sip of his coffee and continued to read with interest. Cameron, his one and only son, was slouched down in his chair staring at the bowl of soggy cereal that sat before him. Richard's wife and Cameron' mother, Jenna, simply glanced at the silent two and sighed.
"So, soccer practice after school, Cam?" She began, turning her attention to her son.
"Yep," He replied unenthusiastically, never taking his eyes of the bowl in front of him.
"You need me to pick you up?"
"No, I have a car, remember?"
"Right, I keep forgetting. I still can't believe you can drive now."
The teenager groaned, thrusting his eyes towards the ceiling. Jenna shook her head at her son's attitude, looking at her husband for support, but she didn't find any as he continued to read. "Of course, why would he show any interest today? He doesn't any other day..."
She continued, "Does the new coach still have you as left mid-fielder? He needs to know you're a solid striker and that seniority should play a part in the positions, even if you were beat out by Blake what's-his-name."
"It's fine," the boy responded, showing little interest. "Blake deserves his chance to shine...a little change of pace couldn't hurt."
"Nonsense," Richard interjected, still staring at his paper. "You obviously have the most to offer the team, as does my checkbook, and you deserve your position. I'm going to talk with that coach if you won't."
"Whatever," Cameron blandly responded.
The family continued to sit and eat their breakfast in silence.

It has been two days since the Mitchell family has moved into town and already life is returning back to normal. Samson would read the morning newspaper while their daughter Janette enjoys playing video games on her Xbox 360, she was known online as the Halo girl as she always played Halo 3 all of the time.
Ellen was in the kitchen preparing breakfast for her family. It was the weekend and she wanted to play something special for her family. She was making an Egg Omelet with Bacon and Sausage inside melted together with all American Cheddar. Samson could smell the smoke coming into the room and got up from what he was doing to go inspect what his wife was doing.
Samson walked into the kitchen and sneaked up from behind. He gave Ellen a scare and then a kiss on the lips.
"Smells good honey?" he said as he then proceeded to kiss her again.
Ellen looked up at her husband and then closed her eyes as she received the kisses.
"Get out of here, I am making something special for the both you.," she replied as she quietly pushed him out of the kitchen.
Samson turned back to his wife once more, "You know, it has been two days and none of our neighbors have came to welcome us yet? Do you think it is because we are...?"
Ellen interrupted him and said, "Of course not dear, and even if it was, who really cares. All we need to know is that we have a good life and we have each other."
"I guess your right, but still, I wish we being atheist never had to come into question," Samson replied.
"Well perhaps someday humans could live in peace with one another, religious people need to realize that we are people too and not brutal savages that worship Satan," Ellen said once more.

"I gotta go," Cameron said blatantly, getting up from his seat quickly and walking out the door before anyone had a chance to say goodbye.
Jenna sighed once more, looking to her husband. She was about to say something when he interrupted, "I better get going too. Busy day." He laid his paper on this table and took the final sip of his coffee, walking out the door as quickly as his son had.
Jenna groaned and placed her hand on her forehead, thinking to herself, "At least I know where Cam gets it...what is wrong with this family?"
Soon the telephone rang and the woman unwillingly jolted up to answer it. "Hello?"
"Hey, so are we still going over to the new neighbor's house? My welcome basket is fully loaded with the finest baked goods and I want to get this crap out of the way," Spoke Ava, who had a quite recognizable voice, even without the sarcastic undertone.
Jenna couldn't help but smile, replying, "Yeah, I'm still planning on it...God, I hate the stress of putting up with new people. Let's hope it's not another Annie...speaking of, I should invite her along, shouldn't I?"
"Now, now, remember the slightly good and very awkward times we all used to share? Just because she's become the poster girl for 'Denial' lately doesn't mean we shouldn't be considerate. She likes the whole welcome committee scene...she'll have to spring back from this somehow...they all will."
The two women both paused, having noticed a significant change in the people around them since the disappearance of the Hodges girl a year ago. Not to say that the two weren't upset by the tragic event as well, but they both thought the healing process for the others should have begun by now.
Ava continued, "So yeah, invite her along. Maybe it'll cheer her up."
"Alright," Jenna responded, sighing slightly, "See you in a bit, we'll meet at the Mitchell's front gate."
Jenna then hung up the phone, not waiting for a goodbye from her friend. She hesitated for a moment before picking the receiver up once again and dialing the number of the Hodges residence, feeling slightly queasy with each ring.

((OOC: Well, while we're waiting for her to approve you, I guess I'll post.))
Emitting a soft but enduring yawn, Brad Novak rolled upon his side as he began to depart from his land of slumber. Gradually opening his eyes, he groaned and sat up while he looked out to the rest of his bedroom. He turned his head to his wife sleeping beside him, and the man leaned in to kiss her forehead in a most tender manner. He smiled broadly, and his hand gently caressed her bare back after moving closer to her.
In mere moments, Holly awoke, revealing her warm, loving eyes, and as she looked to her husband, she offered him a wonderfully pleasant grin. Covering her body with the covers, the woman rubbed her eye before finding her husband laying on top of her, presenting her with a conniving, charming smile. "Why, good morning," he whispered, planting a kiss on her lips. "And how is my lovely wife doing this morning?"
Before Holly could utter a single word, the phone beside the bed suddenly rang, and Brad, letting out an irked moan, rolled off of his wife and covered his face with his eyes. Making certain that her upper chest was covered, the woman reached for the device and placed it against her face. "Hello?" she answered, looking to her husband. Her eyes shot wide open as she carefully listened to the voice on the opposite end. "Yes... It's nice to hear from you, too. Yes. No, no, that's alright, you don't have to come over. It's fine, I-- Ah. I suppose I'll see you soon then. Yes, yes. Okay, goodbye." She put the receiver down and began to rub the bridge of her nose with her forefinger and thumb as she let out a sigh.
"Who was that?" Brad asked, scratching the scruff on his chin. His wife responded by shooting a most fiery expression toward him.
"You'd better get dressed," she instructed, biting her lower lip. "Ashley is coming." Brad was already out of the bed before he could allow Holly to finish her sentence.

OOC: Alright, BB. I'll have to outdo you for cutesy family antics.
"Is this our new house?" Robert asked. "No, dear, it's 307. That'll be... two over, isn't it? Amelia, will you hand me the roadmap?" "Just a minute." Amelia pulled their moving van to a stop at the end of the street. "Here it is." Tracy looked over the map. "We turned left on exit 3, so this should be it-" "It's there!" Robert cried out. They all saw the house they'd picked out, a red two story house with a fenced off backyard. Amelia pulled into the driveway,
and stopped the car. "Here are the keys, Robert. Why don't you be the first to go inside? Me and your mommy will get the boxes." Robert ran ahead to
unlock the door, and the two women walked around to the back of the van. Opening it, Amelia gasped as she saw her packing boxes had fallen over.
"oh crapohcrapohcrap!" She dashed into the van and frantically stacked the boxes back up. "What is it, what fell?" "My CDs!" she looked closer, then relaxed. "Oh, nothing's broken." "You should just get an MP3 player" Tracy said. How many times? The sound quality-" "Isn't the same as a CD recording, blah blah blah auditory variance-ification..." Amelia scowled, then Tracy hugged her. "I get it sweetie. But nothing's broken at least, right?" Tracy asked. "Yes, it's fine. Hang on." Amelia went all the way to the back of the storage compartment, and got a long, padlocked trunk that she'd hidden in the back.
She unlocked it, opened it, looked through it, then closed and locked it again. "Keep Robert busy while I put this away." Tracy nodded. "Right. I don't even want him to know you have one." She went inside the house, and took a look around. This was a very nice place. The
downstairs had 3 big rooms, a TV room, a dining room, a laundry room, and a kitchen. The upstairs had a balcony and three bedrooms, but they were
turning one into an office for Amelia. She'd insisted that her job with Rethel wouldn't grow to devour her like it had with Steven, but Tracy had made her
promise to work at home whenever possible. Amelia agreed. They would only need two bedrooms anyway.
"Hey Robert! Have you decided which room you want yet?" Tracy called. "I think I'll have this one in the front. The one in the back has a balcony that looks out over the yard. You and Amelia can look out on the garden." Tracy smiled at that. In her old house, gardening had been one of her few pleasures that didn't violate Steven's "stuck in the 50s" view of how a woman
should behave. She was looking forward to digging in the dirt and seeing what she could plant here. It seemed Robert had all the concern for others his
father lacked. "It was so nice of you to think of that. Your boxes are downstairs. We'll buy anything we couldn't take with us." She kissed her son on the cheek "Aghh, moooom..." Robert faked vomiting, while Tracy went to her new room. In their haste to leave, neither Amelia nor herself had taken all their
furniture. Tracy had brought the basic items, two beds, a dinner table, three chairs etc. etc. The three of them had then spent an afternoon looking for a
furniture store that delivered, then another afternoon looking through a catalog.
"Tracy! Where are you?" Amelia's voice came from downstairs. "Where's my office? I need to get working on the Turkey account." Amelia trudged up the stairs, with a half open box in her hands. "Oh, by the way, we have some neighbors. Wanna go out and meet them?"
