Okay, stop... Pajama time! XDD Jk. I just thought of something regarding the Season One episode "The Foretuneteller". Aunt Woo predicted that Katara was to marry a "very powerful bender". Many speculate that this is Aang, but isn't it true that, seeing how he's a monk, he isn't allowed to get married?

Well if monks can't be married, how did they reproduce? Extra-marital relationships?

I think that they were paired for the occasion. Men lived in the Northern and Southern Temples, and women took to the Western and Eastern Temples. Maybe, like, once a year, air nomads of both genders came together to reproduce or something. Meh.

I think they're asexual. xDD He's been total hard for Katara for a while now. He's already kissed her, which seems to have abandoned his monk ways...except for the whole no meat thing. The air nomads aren't around anymore, so Aang might just ditch the title of monk entirely. If they want each other, I highly doubt that this would get in the way...  Zutara fans seem to think Aunt Woo's predictions meant Zuko, because he IS a powerful bender, and Aunt Woo said she saw no relationships in his future....ugh. |

Now that you think about it. Aang was pretty powerful at the very end when he used engrybending. I never thought about that before, but that was kind of a foreshadowing to The Final Battle. Not to mention the fact that he merged with the fish, does that count as spiritbending or engrybending, whatever that's called?

I'm with Sokka on the skepticism. Many of Aunt Wu's predictions were circumstantial, and as she said, everyone has the power to shape their own destiny.

Does engrybending count as being a powerful bender or what? I'm still debating this. Also, Aunt Wu's predictions are basically used as proof for any shipping rather it's Kataang or Zutara. Hell, Zukaang could somehow be connected. Not sure how though. |
