I just had a thought. Does anyone think that Aang may move to an island where he may spend most of his days during his spear time from maintaining order? I mean Kyoshi had an island to live in peace from invaders. Roku lived with his wife on his island before he died. Does anyone else think Aang and Katara may move to an island to live out the rest of their days?

Hmm...good speculation. but in my opinion, based on the circumstances set in the situation of Kyoshi and Roku, that Aang may not go live on an island.
Kyoshi: She had to protect her land from Shin (was that is name?). That is why the island was made.
Roku: Roku's nation is set in the island form so anywhere he lived in the Fire Nation would be on an island.
Aang: I think Aang will go and live in one of the temples, and try to start the Airbending Race again. That would be rather interesting.

Well, seeing how there was a one hundred year period without the Avatar, my guess is that Aang will travel the world alone with Appa to ensure that peace is present in the four nations. It's a speculation that I've harbored for some time, and that's how this series will end, imo.
