((NOTE FROM BB: Apparently no one understood the point I was trying to make with my last post. )) The Turk looked over his shoulder and let out a sigh. His fist were still clenched and his heart was totally shattered by Miyo's shocking actions. "Let me... follow what's left of my broken heart, Tidus," Vincent said softly as his back faced the house. The man trembled for a moment and regained his calm and cool face, displaying no emotion whatsoever. "There's just something not right about her... I still refuse to believe that my beloved, my Miyo, had said such a thing." After a silent moment, Vincent treaded the garden path feeling his pulse throbbing through his head with every step he took. The man inhaled sharply and stood several feet behind his love. "Miyo... my love?" the Turk asked her gently as he brushed away a strand of hair from his face. He crossed his arms and raised a brow as he laid his passionate red eyes upon his beloved. "Do you think we can talk? I'm concerned about you, love. Is there something bothering you?"

"Like I said before Vincent. I'm fine." Miyo replied in a irked tone. Miyo looked into Vincent's eyes as a tear rolled down her face. Instantly she looked away quickly wiping her tear and said, "You don't need to be concerned for me anymore. I've been thinking a lot and I noticed that we don't have this connection that I felt before. I feel better now that I don't have to act anymore.. this is the real me Vincent."
"I need to get away from here and see the world! I've been too nice, too long to have people just use me and take advantage. I'm tired of lies and people that think they love me when really they're just using me as second best." Miyo continued. "I know that's what you're doing and you just feel sorry for me, but really I just feel sorry for you. If you really loved me then you'll just except me, the new me."
"No Vincent that's not me!! Don't listen to this demon or shadow or whatever that's in me." Miyo shouted from a far of place no one could hear. She could see herself and Vincent but not threw her eyes, as if her soul was trapped inside something that no one could reach. "I would never say that to you Vincent. Please don't fall for anything. Be strong for me, my love."

Vincent's heart was completely shattered by Miyo's words. He attempted to say her name, but he choked on his words and failed to draw a sentence from his lips. After a moment, the Turk lowered his eyes and turned his face away from her. "I... I'm not sure I understand your motives," the man said with sorrow in his voice. "But I do love you, Miyo. I love you more than anything in the universe. And I will accept you no matter what."
The Turk fell silent, searching for more words in the back of his mind. Vincent lifted his eyes and trembled as he looked upon his beloved. "Above all, I want you.... to be happy, Miyo," he continued as he gradually felt his soul being ripped apart. "I... I can understand if you don't want to be with me.. However, as long as you are happy, then... I don't mind."

"Of course you don't." Miyo said giving Vincent a pat on the shoulder as she turned and walked away. "I'll be back for dinner."
Throughout the week, Miyo's behavior grew worse with each day while Ryo's spies gathered more and more information about the status in Miyo's home. Everyone questioned each other about Miyo but could find no answers. Kohana, the most confused out of everyone became distant from her sister and remained in a quiet state as everything continued on. At the end of the week, in the middle of the evening, the night was showing off a star-filled sky with a large luminous moon. Everyone in the house were safe in their dreams as Miyo got up from her bed trapped in a daze, sleepwalked out of her room, and quietly passed Vincent. She gives a quick glance to him before leaving the house out to the garden as silent as she could.

For the past week, Vincent had felt his heart and soul become totally shattered as he laid eyes upon his beloved Miyo. She continued to fade away with each moment of each day, and she grew distant with the people she loved. Throughout the course of the week, the Turk hadn't even been able to touch his beloved or wasn't able to be with her. He had truly reached his limits, but, even in difficult times, he still loved her and put her above all others.
As Miyo crept out of the house, the man, sleeping in living room, perked his ears and had picked up the sound of her footsteps. With Cerberus at his side, Vincent slowly got up from his resting posture and tiptoed over to the door. His beloved swayed and walked into the woods, leaving her love totally baffled.
"Miyo," Vincent whispered softly, "my love, where are you going?" Without a second thought, the Turk pursued his lover and carefully followed her into the dark abyss.

Miyo still in her daze, continued on deeper into the forest until a small opening came about. The moonlight made the area light up with random flowers and different sized rocks carefully placed together. Miyo looked up at the moon and then looked at her surroundings before taking a seat on a rather large rock.
"Ahh, my future wife is here. Lovely as always." a familar voice said from the distance. A male appeared to the woman as she gave a small smirk and walked up to him. "It's been a while since I seen your beautiful face."
He took her hand and kissed it while looking deep into her eyes. "Miyo are you there?" he asked softly. He brushed some of her hair back and watched as her eyes changed from a dark cold look into a softer warm one. She blink several times before realizing where she was and who she was with.
"Yachi?" She asked confused. "Why am I here? What have you done to me?"
"I didn't do anything, it was all you, my dear." he replied. "You let out your true feelings to everyone, realizing that they were using you."

As Ryo and Miyo came together for their secret conference, Vincent crept about in the menacing shadows of the wooded forest floor. His red eyes tracked every bit of motion and he carefully glanced about for a sign of his beloved. Finally, the Turk gazed upon a sliver of light of silver light cascading from the tops of the trees in which poured into a small opening in the forest. Hope crossed the man as he lightly stepped through the forest floor and came to a particularly tall tree in which he began to ascend.
After he climbed the tree, Vincent perched himself atop a sturdy branch that overlooked the cleared area in which Miyo and a shadowy individual stood by each other. He grew concerned with man's presence near his beloved, but he stayed in his position, hoping to hear their conversation. The necklace that dangled from his beloved glistened in radiant light of the moon, and the Turk sighed and placed a hand under his chin as he bared a wide grin. It had been the first time in a week that he was able to look upon his beloved without her making a remark. The man's ears perked as they listened into their conversation.
"I didn't want that to happen," the young woman said pulling away a bit from Ryo. The Turk smiled a little, and he was glad that the real Miyo shined through. "I didn't mean to hurt anyone... I don't want to make myself distant from the people I love."
"They're distant from you because they can't handle the truth," Ryo whispered as he leaned forward and seductively spoke into Miyo's ear, making Vincent's eyes widen. "You know that they were using you all along. They pretended like they cared but wanted to get everything they could out of you and what your parents left behind.
"Vincent is a fool for not staying with you, your sister wants nothing to do with you now, and the others are getting annoyed," the Fuwa Leader stated as Miyo gradually eased up with him. "If you come with me then you'll be happy. Everyday I'll treat you better than anyone else can."
The Turk's eyes widened and his gripped his thigh becoming angry by the man's word. Vincent's breathing increased a bit and he quickly covered his mouth to avoid being caught. "No," he said to himself as he laid his red eyes upon Miyo. "No, I can't let it happen again... I watched Lucrecia fall into the wrong arms as well... and that one moment of my stupidity changed everything for everyone of our world. I can't let this happen again... not to Miyo..."

Ryo's words were flowing into Miyo's ears giving them a small charisma that gave the woman doubts. She shook off the feeling and lowered her eyes. "I already have someone I'm happy with now. I love Vincent and he loves me regardless of what I do." She replied coldly. "He sees through whatever demon or magic you used on me and I know you have something to do with this, Yachi."
"Call me Ryo and I told you that I get anything I want...." Ryo said. He moved closer to her again and whispered, ".....and what I want is you."
Miyo's eyes widened as she pushed Ryo away from her. She quickly gave herself distance from the Fuwa leader and became really nervous. "I wish I wasn't alone with Yachi like this." she thought. "Who knows what he has done to me. I wish Vincent was here.
Ryo stared at the woman with a sly grin on his face. He noticed her tense up as she started playing with the necklace Vincent placed on her. "I see you got my little present." he said taking a seat on the same large rock Miyo sat at not to long ago. "Lovely isn't it? It's not as beautiful as you but-"
"What are you talking about?" Miyo said cutting Ryo off giving a disgusted look on her face. She looked at the charm then back at the clan leader. "Vincent gave me this necklace."
"Yes that is true, but I was the one that gave it to Jewels to give to you." Ryo explained. "She made sure that you will end up having it. I'm actually surprised that you picked it out yourself which made it even better."
"That can't be true." Miyo replied shaking her head. "I won't believe it."
"Believe whatever you want, but it's the truth." Ryo said giving Miyo a flirtatious smile. "How else you've been acting this way? Ever since that necklace was placed on your neck, you absorbed a malignant spirit of Samuru. That's why you've been having those dreams as well."
Miyo felt sick to her stomach as her knees gave away and she landed on the soft grass in disbelief. She looked down at the flowers beside her as a felt torn and afflicted by a curse that could never end. Ryo noticed her pain and quickly got up, moving over to her. He took a seat beside her and gently rubbed the side of her face. She pushed his hand away and turned her back to him facing in Vincent's direction. "Where are you, my love?" she whispered looking up at the night sky. "Please save me."

Vincent’s eyes widened in disbelief as he looked upon his beloved’s neck in which the necklace danged and shined in the moon’s brilliant light. “I... I can’t believe it,” the Turk whispered under his breath. His red eyes thinned as he looked upon Ryo with a fiery hate raging in his heart. The man’s attitude lightened as he fixed his eyes back upon his love and he bared a wide smile. “I knew it wasn’t you, my sweet. There was no way that a pure heart like yours would allow you to say such words of hate.”
The Turk stood from his crouched position upon the branch and pulled Cerberus from his side. Vincent quickly inhaled a breath of air and lunged himself forward in midair into the clearing where he landed swiftly upon his feet. The man leered at Ryo as he stood tall with his weapon close to him. “I knew I should have killed you at the market,” he said coldly while he gripped the gun in his hands. The man shifted his gaze over to his innocent lover and his voice and expression changed a sweet and loving stare. “I suppose... I’m here to rescue you, my love.”

"Vincent!" Miyo cried as she instantly got up and placed her arms around him tightly. "I knew you come find me and Ryo....."
"I think that's enough of you Miyo. Maybe you should calm down Vincent. You where her the whole time, right? I'm sure you understand everything that's going on. But there's one thing you don't realize..." Ryo said pausing a bit as he reached out to touch her giving a sly look at the Turk. The leader then fixed his eyes on Miyo as the warmth and love in her eyes and body began to fade away. "Miyo still has a part of Samuru and I can take away or give whatever I like. As for you Vincent, you have something that I need. I don't care if I have to force it out; I will have it and there's no doubt about it."

Vincent looked down at his beloved and stared into her darkening eyes. The man stared at Ryo and thinned his red eyes. "I take it that you're Jiro's leader. So, you're Ryo," he said as he held Miyo tightly in his arms. "If it's my Jenova energy you want, you can't have it. This energy is likely to kill any mortal if the energy levels are too high. Besides, even though I hate you for attempting to take Miyo away, I prefer to keep my hands unstained by your blood."
The Turk looked down at his love once more and let out a sigh. As he stroked the side of her face, a thought crossed his mind and he glanced up at the Fuwa Clan leader once more. "Above all, though, I want to keep Miyo safe, and I want her to be be happy," he said in a stern tone. "And if it's my energy you want, so be it. But please, take me instead of her. If you have a heart and you actually do care for her, you'll do what's best for her and let her return home safely."

Ryo laughed and folded his arms as he jumped back a few feet to the rock he was sitting at. "You think I'll let everything go as you plan it to be? " The clan leader questioned as he gained his composure. "I do care for her and I'll make my home her new one. I'll give her anything that she ever wanted; jewels... land... anything. Miyo is my one true desire ever since I laid eyes on her. Now the demon within me, Samuru has other plans and your energy is part of it."
"Just give him what he wants, Vincent. Let me go." Miyo said in a zombie-like state. Her true self left her body as the 'new' Miyo resurfaced again. "You let Lucrecia go and you can do the same now."
"Miyo, this isn't you." Vincent said sadly trying again to find his love within her eyes. He felt the chain of the necklace and gave a quick tug, pulling off the gift he gave to Miyo. The woman's eyes grew as she took in a deep breath and fainted in Vincent's arms. Ryo thinned his eyes at the Turk as he watched Vincent picking up Miyo once more. "My love, you should be ok now."
"Let us finish this now, Vincent." Ryo demanded. He made a leap to Vincent and Miyo standing a few feet a way. His voice started to change as the demon, Samuru came about with a beastly voice. "Give me your power now or I will not hesitate to kill you and the woman.

Vincent thinned his eyes toward Ryo and gave him a disgusted face. As he looked down toward his beloved, the man lightened his expression and gently set his beloved upon the soft grass beneath them. He grinned as he knelt down and touched the side of her face. "After all of this mess is dealt with, my love, we can continue with the rest out of our lives," the Turk said softly as he gently stroked the side of her face. "One of these days, we'll get married and maybe start a family and live out the rest of our lives in peace."
The man smiled at the thought, but then quickly frowned after Ryo emitted a growl. "But that'll have to wait until this ordeal is over," Vincent continued. He leaned in and kissed his beloved's forehead. "Don't worry, Miyo; I'll take care of this."
The Turk rose from kneeling and pulled out Cerberus once more. "I'll be certain that Miyo is kept safe," he said with a deep tone pointing his weapon toward the possessed man. "Come on, show me what you got... It ends right here... right now."

"I, Samuru, will defeat you." the demon inside Ryo confessed to the Turk. He drew a sword from out of nowhere and pointed it at his opponent. He quickly lunged forward to Vincent as he quickly moved his sword to Vincent's sides. Samuru's movements were swift and fast like Vincent's last foe, Weiss, as he sensed that he was losing the night sky. Vincent using his Ceberus as a defense blocked Samuru's attacks and began firing at the man.
Samuru dodged the bullets and made one forceful swipe of the blade, in Vincent's direction, instantly taking out a line of trees. Vincent before the hit could touch him he cleared out the way and landed in a safe area a few feet away from the Fuwa leader. "You're quick." Samuru said in a ready stance. "Next time I'll get you for sure."

The Turk sneered and raised a brow. "Think so?" he said in a sly voice as he stared at the Fuwa Leader with his fierce red eyes. "You haven't seen a thing... I'm all yours, Samuru." As Vincent outstretched Cerberus, a sudden streak of light crossed the dark sky and the land soon brightened. Morning had come once more.
The sun soon rose over the forest's trees and light cascaded into the clearing. The demon emitted a loud cackle and outstretched his arm carrying his sword. "I am yours, good sir," Samuru hissed as he stuck the blade within the ground. After a few seconds, the ground before Vincent turned black and several shadow-like creatures came forth. "Try this on for size, Mr. Valentine."
The man took a few steps back as he cocked Cerberus and shot a bullet at one of the shadowy pawns. Instantly, it vanished and after a second, two more replicas replaced their fallen being. "Damn," Vincent whispered under his breath as his eyes widened. More of the dark shadows emerged from the ground and began their attack upon the Turk. "This may be... a little harder than I expected it to be."

Tidus had been walking along the path in the woods for some fresh air when he first heard the commotion. He rushed over to see what was causing it when he saw A man with Miyo, who seemed to be summoning black shadow creatures that were surrounding Vincent. It had been a while since Tidus had been in a fight. The last thing he defeated was......Sin, his father Jecht. He didn't know if he was ready yet, but seeing his new friends in trouble caused his hesitation to end. He drew his sword, which was concealed on his belt, and rushed in to the heat of battle, slicing through the shadow creatures. But for each he defeated, two more spawned in his place. He look over to Vincent who seemed to already know this. Tidus decided to try one more thing. He held up both of his arms to the sky. It had been a while since he had used magic, but he had to try his best. A small ball of light formed in his palms and quickly grew. He screamed as it released as a bolt into the sky. He forced its movement to the shadows, eliminating them with the touch of the light. This time, they didn't respawn. Tidus was right, Holy always does the trick.
Naomi was sobbing as she sat at the gazebo. She was devastated to see her friend, Miyo, acting this way. She wanted to help so badly, but didn't know how. Soon after, she saw a ray of light emit from the forest. "Holy magic," she instantly thought. She followed in the footsteps that Tidus had made when he had rushed to the scene. She saw Tidus emitting the magic power that seemed to be killing shadow creatures that covered the section of the forest that a battle had been occurring in. She knew there was something different about him. That's why she felt so strongly for him when she met him. Tidus could use magic as well. That had to be it....

Vincent smirked as he watched Tidus unleash a mass of energy and he crossed his arms. "I must say, Tidus, it's good to have you on our side," the man said as he inspected the battle field before him and he carefully reloaded Cerberus. "You didn't get to see my own magic though. Oh well, I'm sure you're in for a real treat." The Turk cocked his reliable gun and aimed it at the demon.
"Enough with games, Samuru," he said coldly as he thinned his eyes toward the Fuwa Clan leader. "I've heard enough of your talking and I've had it with your antics. Now, are you going to actually fight me, or are you a cowardly demon hiding inside the body of powerful man serving as your pawn? I guess you're not the demon I thought you were then."

As the sky grew brighter, Samuru started to become annoyed with so much light that he used his used his sword to put a dark barrier around him. "I never hide, not from anyone." Samuru said angerly. "The only cowardly one I see is you. But unfortunately things come up so I must take my leave for now."
Suddenly rays of dark energy started shooting out of Samuru's hands in all directions before turning into a shadow moving with increased acceleration away from the area. From those rays more shadow creatures awakened. "I'll get you Vincent Valentine." the demon thought heading toward the camp. "When I do I'll get all your energy, kill you, and turn this world into my own hell."

The Turk snarled as he went to follow the demon, but he was swallowed by a sea of shadow creatures. "Damn it, Samuru!" Vincent yelled to the possessed man running back to the Fuwa Clan's camp. "Get back here and fight!" Several shadow demon overwhelmed the man's right foot and they began to attack relentlessly from all sides.
Vincent cocked his weapon and a blue flame of Jenova energy enveloped his entire arm. Cerberus' barrel built up with energy and as its handler pulled the trigger, the gun erupted with a mass of flames and smoke, burning the countless shadows in its path. The smoke died down after a moment, and the Turk was revealed once more; his intense red eyes stared down the path in which Samuru had fled to.
Vincent leaped over to Tidus, who was parrying a shadow creature's attack with his blade. "We can't take much more of this," he said coldly as he blasted another horde of creatures. The Turk's eyes scanned the surrounding area, and the two men were swamped with a sea of shadows. He gazed over to where his beloved lay unconscious, unaware of the surrounding danger about her. "Tidus, take Miyo back to the house and get the hell out of here. I need to deal with Samuru alone so that no one can get hurt. If anyone on our side is going to die, it's going to be me."
The Turk grabbed the young man by the arm as another wave of shadows emerged from the ground. "Get out of here while you still can," Vincent snapped as he thinned his eyes. "If Miyo wakes up... tell her that I love her with all of my heart. Please, could you do that for me?"

Tidus snarled. "Fine.....I'll take Miyo back to the house......but I'm coming back to help you end this!!!" Tidus said as he remembered the last fight he had fought. He was forced to kill his father. He used all of his strength to save a world he hardly knew, all for her, so he could do the same for these people and Naomi. He couldn't believe what he had thought. He had replaced Yuna in his mind with a girl he had just recently met. He couldn't stand the thought of forgetting Yuna. "No.....she lost me, I won't lose her!" Tidus thought to himself as he picked up Miyo, "I will return to end the suffering of these people....just like before!!"
Naomi watched from the bushes, wrapped up in her thoughts. The battle had tuned out a while ago and all she could think about was his face. She remembered her dream and knew that he had been through a peril like this before. She knew nothing was going to stop him from saving the one he loved. Naomi realized that she convinced herself that Tidus loved her and visa versa. She didn't know why, she hardly knew him. She sensed some connection.....something deeper than what appeared on the surface. And not just for her, for all of them. Something was going on that Naomi knew no one could comprehend.....
