Vincent sat upon the floor and brought his knee to his chest. "You girls go ahead," he said looking up and baring a grin. "I'll be alright, Miyo. Like I said before, I don't have to sleep. So go on, and get some rest, alright?"

After fighting with Kohana to go to bed, she finally fell asleep. "I guess today was interesting." Miyo said softly and sat down on the bed. "It's hard on the floor. You sure you don't want to be on the bed?"

"It's alright," Vincent said softly. He leaned against the wall of the room and out his head back. "I'll be just fine. I probably won't go to sleep, and I'll just keep watch. You should get some sleep, Miyo."

Miyo gave a little smile and went over to Vincent. She gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Good night my love." she whispered aloud before rushing back to the bed and laying down. "Did I just say what I thought, out loud?!" Miyo thought. "I can't believe I said that!!"
Arnia walked inside and tried not to make a sound. She had her night clothing on and her sword just in case she need to protect herself. She lit a small lantern and tried to get a closer look.

Vincent felt his entire face turn as red as his cloak and he touched the side of his face. He smiled and he looked toward the bed where Miyo was laying. "Sweet dreams, love," the man whispered in reply. All traces of his drowsiness vanished because of the adrenaline that was fueled by Miyo's kiss. The Turk continued to stare at the young woman and felt himself fall deeper in love with her with each second.

After a while, Miyo fell asleep as well while Vincent stayed up. Arnia had dozed off a bit and ended up knocking over a statue. She instantly got up rushing to put the statue back and saw that Vincent was in the room looking at her.
"Uh...I just came over to check on you all..." Arnia quickly said. "I see you found the bedroom. Did you get any sleep?"

Vincent looked over to the bed and crossed his arms. "Well, the girls got some sleep, but I'm staying up," he told her. He looked at the statue that Arnia had just knocked over and he gave a small smile.
"It's getting late," the man continued. "Shouldn't you get some sleep, too?"

"Well, I've learned to stay up late. Since you all are in the forest who knows what could come by and attack in the middle of the night." Arnia replied with a blank face. "I'm sorry about today too. I just haven't had someone to talk to in such a long time. I know I went too far."

Vincent smiled and advanced toward Arnia. "It's alright," he said softly, trying not to wake the girls. "Up until I got in this world, I was often alone too. I'm sure you'll find someone to keep you company and who will care for you."

"How would I know if he's the one? I'll be stuck here at this shrine." Arnia said showing some emotion. "No one comes to visits anymore and it's not like I could just up and leave this place. I don't even know why I was chosen in the anyway. This is a male's job."

Vincent took a few more steps toward Arnia. "You'll find him," he said with a smile. "Or he may find you. Love works in strange ways, Arnia. Just like how I found Miyo. You don't have to worry about a thing. Everything will fall into place."

"I guess." Arnia said looking down. She reflected on Vincent's words and she felt a little better. "Thanks Vincent. I think I'll get some rest now. You should too. Oh uh...I forgot to mention something....about the scroll."

Vincent raised a brow and leaned over to look at Arnia's face. "What about the scroll, Arnia?" he asked softly. "Is there something wrong?"

Arnia turned away from Vincent and said really low, "It's not a real. It's made up." She walked forward away from Vincent and spoke up a little louder with a smirk, thinking a minute before she proceeded "I saw you in the start of the forest from the time you were flower picking to the time you all left. I wanted you for myself. You are every handsome you know that?

Vincent smirked and crossed his arms. "Really?" he asked as he brushed away a strand of hair in his eyes. "I always thought if myself as unattractive, but, alright."
The man smiled and shook his head. "I'm not angry, just to let you know," he continued. "I find it rather funny you made up a fake scroll to get to me. In fact... that's pretty clever."

Arnia blushed a bit and said, "Yeah..I guess I did. Well I feel better now. Thank you Vincent Valentine. Good night!" She developed a sly grin on her face after leaving. Vincent watched as Arnia left the room and went back into the bedroom. He saw that his family were sound asleep and place more covers on them. He smiled at Miyo as he touched the cheek that she kissed and took his position on the floor. "This day was interesting." he thought. "I'm glad that I came."~~~ The next day ~~~ The sun was early and the light could be seen in the trees. Vincent's head was lowered as Miyo was up already. "He must be just resting his eyes..." she thought. "I had the dream with the butterfly again but one shadow was missing. Hmmm..."Miyo bent down on her knees and light touched Vincent's face using her index finger to draw invisible lines on him. She stopped at his lips and suddenly took away her hand. "What am I thinking?" Miyo thought. "Get a hold of yourself." |

Vincent gave out a grunt and slowly lifted his head. With his eyes still closed, he crackled his neck and heard Miyo breathing in front of him. "Good morning," he said softly and slowly. The man opened his eyes and saw the young woman that he loved before him. "Miyo... how did you sleep last night?"

Miyo smiled and replied, "Good morning to you too. I slept ok." She turned her head to the bed and saw that Kohana was still sleep, then turned back to Vincent. "I see that you got a little sleep. How are you feeling?"

"I'm feeling fine," he said softly while rubbing his eyes. Vincent blinked several times and glanced at the young girl still sleeping in a world of dreams. The man smiled and looked back at Miyo. "I see Kohana is getting plenty of sleep."

Miyo smirked and stood up. "Yeah, she gets lots of sleep so she could run around all day and bother me." she replied with a small grin. She held her hands so that she could help Vincent up. "I try to do a lot when she sleeps in the mornings."
