Riiiight. Wii Fit is a game. The Wii is a gaming console. It's like Rock Band, Guitar Hero, or even DDR. Just because they are called something, doesn't mean you will become a rocking legend, or a super fab dancer - or, in this case, uber fit.
If you're in need of a workout, hit the gym. If you don't care, then c'est la vie.

Word. XDD It's true though. If you honestly think you're going to get a super hot body from Wii Fit, think again. If you've ever played Wii Sports, you know that they usually show you a message to "go outside". A novel idea.

Er...but there's quite a big difference between games like Guitar Hero and Wii Fit. Guitar Hero doesn't claim to teach you how to play the instrument, but the whole point of Wii Fit is for you to receive a fun, daily workout. If Wii Fit didn't actually help you do that, then it would be flat out lying. Obviously Wii Fit alone won't make you lose 60 pounds and get rock hard abs, but it has to at least do something.
As for this article...I can't tell if it's meant to be serious or funny...in either case it fails miserably.

But still, it's like Liamane says - it's just like Wii Sports. ^^ My mother-in-law's got Wii Fit, and it tells you it's not a substitution for actual workouts & go outside, or something to that effect.

I don't remember Wii Sports ever claiming to help you lose weight. <_< In any case, I think we can all agree AOL needs new journalists.
