Here are some of my thoughts on The Sims 3. As many of you may have already know, Snooty Sims has posted an article to The Sims 3's officially website. Anyways I think this game is really going to be the best out of the series. Seeing how the neighborhoods are seamless and you could walk out of your home and go downtown without a load screen will add a lot of great new game play. I am so glad that you will be able to visit our Sims' house, however one has to wonder if you will be able to play other sims and how you will be able to change to a different sims once you are bored with another one.
Now the Lord of the RIngs expansion pack I heard of. Not mention is known, but in the magazine Snooty Sims posted. Rod Humble, in charge of the game's production, said they have the LOTR's license and they were by god going to do it. Whatever this means, will make this game's lifespan and interesting one.

Hmm. I recently got Sims 2, and I think it's pretty good myself. It's interesting, and I may, in fact, purchase Sims 3. As for the LOTR expansion pack, I find that most interesting. I'm not too certain of how that would work, but being a Hobbit fan ((XDD)), I'm sure that it'll be pretty cool. If they have combat, that would be pretty awesome in itself.

Hm...it seems a little early for the Sims 3, imo. Hm...now that I think about it, didn't Sims 2 release sooner after the original than 3 will now?

Well not really, The Sims 2 was delayed for quite some time before being released so something tells me that The Sims 3 was being worked on while The Sims 2 team was still making the expansion packs. It was delayed just like how Spore was today.

Well semi-true. The Sims 2 came out four years after The Sims 1 and The Sims 1 was popping out expansion packs really close together I remember this. The Sims 3 is basically coming out within one year, because it is the most earliest of 2009, Spring I believe. However The Sims 2 is still not dying, we have the Kitchen and Bathroom Interior Stuff coming out, not to mention Ikea Stuff. There is a rumor of an 8th expansion pack titled, "Apartment Life" but it could simply be a Sims Stories titled or a game for the DS.

Oh, but from The Sims 2 Free Time to The Sims 3 is one year and The Sims Makin' Magic to The Sims 2 is four years. Otherwise if the game had no expansion/stuff packs, then you are correct.
