My Sigs I guess

Okay, I'm EXTREMELY new at this, so they aren't anything great, but I thought I'd post anyways. So tell me what you think, and critique for improvements . The first contains someone cosplaying Sora so, yeah the image belongs to cadeflytheemoguy at DeviantART.com. I got the render on the second from Celestial Star.com.

Not too bad. You've got composition down early, so that's a good thing. I like the overall placement of stocks, text, etc. Colors are pretty good too, but I think with each new sig there should be a different color scheme, to spice it up with some variety.

I'm not a fan of the black wall of text in the first one. In the second, I think what you do with the reflection effect is great; very interesting, no doubt. However, your techniques are still that of a novice, which isn't a bad thing at all, since you're new to this. For a beginner, you're off to a good start. Try out some tutorials to learn new techniques and eventually you'll find your rhythm. ^__^

Hehe, well thank you! ^^ Like I said, you've got plenty of potential. And trust me, Tutorials are a life saver when you first start out. This one might be a little difficult at your stage, but it's a great example of how simple techniques can produce a great result. Be sure to check out the Tut & Resources thread here for some great stuff. (Feel free to ask me any questions if you need help) I hope you make some great new stuff! ;D
