My first poem ever. It got published. I know that sounds like a big deal, but it was one of those things where they publish it and you have to pay like 50 dollars for the book which doesn't even go to stores. Anyhoo....
As I walk along the seashore I hear the echo of people who aren't even here I think of how it could have been If the travesty had never occurred Families never would have been harmed But it could have been a great deal worse, I suppose If never attacked, we might not have been There to help aid the war against the rest of the world The Harbor was attacked that day December 7, 1941 Was a dreadful day for numerous families What is the differentiation Between emotional and physical agony? Is there a difference? Can emotional pain be physical? Can physical be emotional? I think about it and draw my own conclusion As I walk along the beach, my heart stops its simple beat I hear the sounds of what was before me years ago But what was brutally shattered
