I am beginning to gain interest in Spongebob again. Some of the newer episodes are very funny. Although they seem to be focusing on the secret formula.
Like Plankton and Mr. Krabs teaming up to steal Kelp Shacks' (Starbucks) secret formula or when Karen (Planktons' robot wife) pays someone to eat his Chum and Mr. Krabs starts selling Chum himself, but the customer didn't like it so Krabs tried to steal Plankton's secret formula for Chum.

Definitely ironic and would've been a great episode back in the day, but lately the writing and animation of the show have been really below standards. Ever since the movie the show has been really sucky; I love SpongeBob, it used to be one of my favorite shows and still somewhat is, but the earlier episodes were the only ones that held any kind of comedic value imo.
