Why do I suddenly hence the feeling that the first women to be US president isn't going to be Republican or Democrat? I just have the feeling that the first women is going to be a Libertarian. They do say thanks to Ron Paul's campaign, there will be a stronger focus on Libertarian candidates in the next election. I just have this funny feeling that the first women president is going to be a Libertarian.

I doubt that a prominent candidate, or even a woman for that matter, will emerge from the Libertarian party; the two predominant parties will remain Democratic and Republican, imo. It's just the way it works.

Remember what Ron Paul did for his party, he encouraged more people to vote third party. Because of his campaign, they said that there could be an even more powerful Libertarian candidate next election or even down the road from here. The Libertarian party is rising up and becoming a well known third party now it seems like.
There have been many talks online that people were going to write in Ron Paul for the presidency. He probably won't win, but if he did a lot in his campaign, we could be looking at an even stronger campaign next election.
I also hear talks about problems within the Republican party which could eventually divide it into two.

Just like with TR did with the Bull Moose party? Maybe, but that was only when tension was extremely high between Taft and Roosevelt. I doubt it'd ever reach a level of rivalry such as that; after all, it was eventually resolved. But hey, who's to say history won't repeat itself, am I right?

Well history already seemed to have repeat itself with Obama. He is recruiting his enemies when he was campaign, just as Lincoln did when he was about to take office. Obama I heard was negotiating with McCain and now he is appointing Hillary to his cabinet. However I am waiting to judge him in about four years when I need to vote for him if he runs again.
Perhaps by this time, people would forget about the entire race, black man, president gig and judge, criticize, complain about his presidency.
