Anyone manage to watch the Oscars in its entirety? I only managed to stay up for the Best Original Song bit, and then I realized I, in fact, had school in the morning. Cripes. So, anyone disappointed at all? With eight Academy Awards under its belt, I think I'm definitely going to check out Slumdog, but I doubt it'll altar my opinion on Dev. Heath Ledger's win was pretty obvious, but I'm really glad he won. Everyone knew Wall-E would win, even Jack Black said so. I think Hugh Jackman handled the ceremony nicely, and I hope he does them again. Sooooooooooo, basically, good show. Tally-ho! (Whoa, that rhymed...)

I was extremely satisfied with all of the winners, especially Ledger and Winslet. I thought Jackman did a fair job, but the musical numbers seemed a little poorly executed to me. Did anyone else think that Beyonce was lip syncing? Her mouthing seemed off with the vocals...
Anne Hathaway was great onstage, and I loved Penelope Cruz's acceptance, alongside Kate Winslet's of course. The new format of presenting the actors' awards was wonderful, and they should continue it next year. That crazy old woman that presented Meryl Streep must have been drunk out of her mind. xDD I think O Saya deserved the Oscar more than that other one with "ho" in it, although the Wall-e song was definitely a good contender. The animated feature Oscar isn't as exciting when a Miyazaki film isn't in the running.

Didn't get to see much, but I will say this. The Beyonce, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens part kinda weirded me out o.o
