Okay, just got back from seeing "Horton Hears a Who!" today. It was pretty good, not EXACTLY how I would invision it, but it was worth seeing. There were some corney scenes and not as much depht as I would've liked, but they pretty much kept true to the Dr. Seuss story. I don't know, maybe I'm just too old to be giving a critical review of a kids movie or my generation is different from the little ones now (I remember the day when Disney would slip in occasional innuendos in the film that got mothers upset, but I guess that explains why cartoons these days aren't as great as they once were). Still, it gives me good fan writing/pic material. Anywho, go see it, but don't expect too much.

I've been seeing a lot of commercials for this lately. I don't think I'll actually go see it though. Maybe a rental later. I'm not a huge Seuss fan, so could you tell me exactly what this is about? xDD

Well, Horton the elephant, who lives in the jungle of Nool, hears a cry of help coming from a tiny floating speck. After saving the speck, he sets it on a clover and finds out that the speck is a town called Whoville, where the whos live. After speaking with the Mayor, Horton goes out to find the whos a new home, but Sour Kangaroo, the matriarch of Nool, does not believe people can live on a speck and thinks Horton has gone crazy, so she takes it on her behalf to have the clover destroyed along with the speck.
