Skyland

Now this is a show that I find quite interesting. The show's name is called Skyland, of course you know because of the title. The show airs on Nicktoons Network and follows the story of Lena, who is the daughter of a Seijin (Mila). Seijin have unique abilities that are powered by sunlight. Mila was kidnapped by the Sphere. The Sphere is an evil dictatorship focused on conquering the last of many free blocks. Now Lena and her brother Mahad are now traveling with rebel pirates in the fight against the Sphere. My favorite character on the show has to be Aran Cortes. There is just something about him I like and not to mention, he is Scottish. Anyways this show really looks interesting, sadly I do not have a cable box in my room in our new apartment so I haven't been keeping up with the show lately. Since where I live I get the show around three in the morning. Trust me I am up around this time.

I've often considered watching this show. It seems like it could be really interesting. Plus, the animation is well done compared to some shows.

Sometimes I wonder what Avatar will be like if they used the same style. I have to warn you that once you start watching the animation, it may get a little hard seeing how animations because you used to the style Skyland uses. It seems like it could be Nickelodeon's Star Wars when you think about it. Rebellion and an ever Empire. Seijins are similar to Jedi. Still the show is really good. It is also the second show on a Nick Network that has a character that carrying a boomerang. Sokka of course being the first, but Mahad is the second to do this in any "Nicktoon."

Nicktoons Network is quite impressive. It really is a good network that Nick has. A lot of older shows are there and plus a lot of cool original programming as well. Kappa Mikey is alright too. I heard they had a poster of Naruto and other animes in the background. Nick GAS is cool for a blast from the past.
