Pirates of the Caribbean Online

I just saw a commercial for the game Pirates of the Caribbean Online. It is set in the time period of the movies, but I am thinking about joining it. It sounds like fun. It is free to register, at least that is what it said. I just visited the splash page, but it said free to download, free to register. This is something I wish Avatar could have done, but of course Viacom and Nickelodeon seem like they are power hungry, which means there is probably going to fee to play. >_<

Anyways, who else is interested in playing? Perhaps we could meet up sometime in the Caribbean. I wonder how popular the game is seeing how popular the movies are. Although I am not sure if there will be anyone playing with the Runescapes of this world and the WoWs of this world. You can find the official site below.

It this might interesting, differently if you played Sid Meire's Pirates Life the Live. Does anyone else know of anyone online pirate games? This seems to be a first, it interesting how you get to see yourself on the ship while you command your crew. Maybe we could meet up there sometime?
