I know, I know, I must be a culturally retarded monk, but I had never seen this movie until tonight. After finally seeing it though, I'm very glad I did; easily on my top 25 movie list. I haven't really appreciated Tim Burton's work until now. I love the mixture of comedy, romance, and the overall fairytale feel of this movie. Although the last half of the film is lacking compared to the first, it was extremely fun and enjoyable to watch.

I love ALL of Tim Burton's films, but yeah this one definitely stood out to me. It's my second favorite Tim Burton movie, behind The Nightmare Before Christmas. It was a mixture of comedy, romance, sorrow, and a feeling of not being able to fit in. Did anyone else bust a gut when Edward poked a hole in the water-bed and then covered it up with the stuffed animal? XD never gets old.
