"I'll go get breakfast started." Miyo replied getting up. She was blushing a little right after Vincent started moving his hands. She poured more tea for Vincent as Kohana ran up to Vincent and gave him a bear hug. "Gooood Morning!!" she said cheerfully. the young girl looked at the table with a plate of fruit and tea she turned back to Vincent. "Did I miss breakfast already?"

Vincent smiled and let out a small chuckle. "Good morning, Kohana," he said in an upbeat tone. The man quickly took a sip of his tea and then he pulled out a chair for the young girl to sit upon. "You started to have me worried back at the onsen last night, Kohana. Are you feeling better?"

"I'm much better!! Thank you for asking!" Kohana replied with her arms still wrapped around Vincent. After a moment she took a seat while Miyo placed a cup a tea in front of her and left to start breakfast. "I'll be back in a while." she said to the two going to the kitchen. "You two hold tight, I'm going to make something really quick."
"She'll cook a big breakfast again." Kohana said rolling her eyes. "She does that when she's happy or excited about something. Did something just happen? Where's Kikyo and that guy?"

Vincent smirked and watched as Miyo went into the kitchen. "I believe something DID happen, Kohana," he said with a sly tone. The man let out a small laugh and drank another sip of tea. "As for Jiro and Kikyo, they're in the back of the house fooling around. Come to think about it, I haven't seen them for a while. I wonder what they're doing."

"Well I'll go investigate!" Kohana said quickly leaving out the room. She looked to her right first to see no one then turned to her left to see Kikyo and Jiro at the gazebo. "Hey guys!!" Kohana shouted and waved her hands. They returned her wave as they both got up and walked to the young girl. "So you're finally up squirt." Jiro said. "You're heavy y'know?"
"Hey! Don't call me squirt!" Kohana quickly snapped back. They all walked into the room where Vincent was alone at the table. Kohana when over to the Turk and asked, "Am I heavy?? Jiro said that I was."

Vincent's eyes thinned as he looked up at Jiro and he shook his head. "Well, Kohana, if you're heavy, Jiro must weigh a ton," the man said as he lightened his expression and smirked. "Don't mind what he says, Kohana. Jiro is just a little kid on the inside."
The Turk leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms. "So, what were you doing outside, Kikyo?" he asked the priestess as he smirk widened. "Having fun with Jiro, perhaps?"

Everyone turned to Kikyo and she blushed a little. "Nothing at all." she said glancing a Jiro then looking around. She pictured what happened not to long ago in her mind while taking a seat.... ((flashback mode))
Running out of the house Kikyo looked around to see anybody around. "Where did he go?" she said still flustered a little from Jiro's flirting ways. She walked toward the gazebo and Jiro silently came behind her and playfully pushed her before running away to the gazebo. Although the young priestess enjoyed the attention, she only showed anger as she picked up a smooth pebble and threw it at his head. "Ha! Take that!" she shouted and gave him a smirk. "That's what you get!"
Suddenly, she saw him on the ground and appeared to be unconscious. Kikyo gasped and bent down to see if he was ok. Instantly Jiro grabbed the girl and pinned her down to the ground. "You think you can get away with that!" Jiro said pretending to be mad. He got up quickly and took a seat at the gazebo, leaving Kikyo on the ground blushing. "I got something for you later." ((end flashback))
Jiro strangly looked at Kikyo and snapped his fingers in front of her making her jump a little. With a raised eyebrow, he asked, "You ok? Need to lay down for a while?"
"No, I'm fine." Kikyo said getting up. "I think I'll go help Miyo in the kitchen. Would you like to come Kohana?"
Kohana gave Kikyo a small nod and together they went to Miyo, who was quickly cooking everything all a once. Jiro looked at Kikyo as she left the room and smirked. "That girl is weird." he said sipping his now cold tea. "Anyway, so what we doing to day my good man? Grabbing some women and having some 'fun' with them?"

Vincent rolled his eyes and sighed. "I think not," he said as he grumbled under his breath. "Even if I wanted to do something... pleasurable, I would only do such with one woman, and that would be Miyo. My entire heart belongs to her only.
"And as for our agenda," the man continued, "I have no idea what we're doing today. Have any ideas?"

"That was my only idea for today." Jiro replied sulking a little. "Well we could go to the village market circle and pick-pocket some people. Yeah... we'll have a contest and see who can come back with the most stuff."
"You must have lost your mind." Miyo said walking in with food. Kikyo and Kohana came in with large plates with bacon, eggs, and pancakes. "Look Vincent!! I made a happy pancake!!" she said with a giggle. She held up a pancake on a plate with blueberry eyes, a butter square-shaped nose, and a syrup smile. "Isn't it great!!?!?"

Vincent offered the young girl a broad smile and he let out a small laugh. "It's wonderful, Kohana," he replied in a happy tone. "I can tell that you worked really hard making it."
The man looked at all of the food that the girls had made and he continued to bare a smile. "You all made great dishes," the Turk said. "You're all going to have to teach me how to cook one of these days!"

Miyo smiled as she handed everyone plates and utencils. "Well we can start!!" she exclaimed. "We don't want to get it cold now do we?"
"Of course not!" Kohana said and watched Jiro stuff his face with pancakes. She turned to him with a disgusted look and asked, "Where you get your manners from?"
"From the sloppy men he stayed with." Kikyo replied. Jiro gave the young priestess a rigid look and continued to eat. Kikyo returned the same look and sighed as she put a little of everything on her plate.
"So, Vincent you still want to do the contest?" Jiro said with food in his mouth. "I'm all for it if you want to. I bet I'll win and bring back the most stuff."

The man rolled his eyes and frowned. "I'd rather not compete in this contest," Vincent said as he ate a pancake. "Stealing is a terrible crime, and it defies all of my morals. I prefer helping people as opposed to taking their possessions."
The Turk swallowed some of his tea and he lightly smacked Jiro's arm. "Sit up straight," he scolded the young man. "Act like a human being. You're not an animal."

Miyo almost choked on her food from holding back her laughter. She coughed a little and started to grin. "Yes, you do need some manners." she said smiling. "Vincent, you'll be a great teacher!" "Why is everyone picking on me!?!!" Jiro said following the Turks orders. "All I'm trying to do is eat a good breakfast." "We just want to help you out a little." Miyo said warmly. "You'll gain more respect by using proper ettiquette anywhere." "Whatever..." Jiro mumbled through his teeth. "All I know is that the people here doing some market selling down at the village circle and the clan's going to be there, I'm sure of it. They'll most likely try to pick-pocket people and even have a contest like I was saying before." "Miyo what about you? Do you sell your crops?" Kikyo asked turning to the woman. "You have quite a lot for just Kohana and yourself." "We do." Kohana said answering for her sister. "We don't sell much at the market because of thieves like Jiro, so people from our village come to us since we're not a far distance from the village circle." "That's right. We take a few baskets of fruits and vegetables and blend in with the crowd going to the markets and tell them that they can some get more from our house." Miyo said as she took over. "We go down to the village circle to take orders and then come back and prepare them. A lot of people come to the house on their way back and pick them up, so we don't have to go down to the market with large baskets." "We tend to go down to the markets early in the week, so we can have the rest of the week to take care of the garden. Then we can relax toward the end of the week like what we're doing now." Miyo contiuned. "Since we know most of the people who buy our fruits, herbs, or vegatables, even some flowers. It's much more safer than going to the village circle with hundreds of people we don't know. About twice a month we go to the markets to check out the exotic items and other merchandise they ship here during that time." "They have jewelry and animals and a whole lot of stuff!" Kohana said with delight getting up from her chair. "I collect some of the rings they have. I'll go get them!!" Everyone watched Kohana leave the room and continued to eat. "She started collecting them about 2 years ago." Miyo said grabbing a piece of bacon. "She gets one every month to add to it." "Here we go!!" Kohana said as she held up a small bracelet chain with about 24 different rings. Jiro's eyes widened with greed as he reached over to grab the rings. Kikyo noticed and smacked him on the back of his head. "Hey! What you do that for?" Jiro said rubbing his head. "I just wanted to get a better look!!" "I saw that look in your eyes." Kikyo said lightly pulling his arm. Jiro looked down at Kikyo's hand and she quickly took it away, then looked down at her food. Kohana took a seat again and placed the bracelet of rings in Vincent's hand. "These ring came from all over from different villages or so they say." Kohana said proud of her collection. "Don't they look beautiful?"

Vincent smiled and touched some of the rings in the palm of his hand. “They are beautiful,” the man said as he looked up at the young girl. “You've collected a lot of rings here! That's an impressive collection, Kohana!"
The Turk looked up and his eyes thinned as he looked up at the young man. "And if you try to steal any of these, Jiro, I'll personally break your hands," he said coldly. "That way, you won't be able to hold any stealing contests. How does that sound?"

"Fine, whatever." Jiro grumbled as he finished up his food. "Well I'm done. What are our plans for today? My ideas were trashed so someone else pick."
The room fell silent for a moment besides the sounds of eating. "Well is is that time of month again." Miyo said looking at her younger sister. "Isn't that right?"
"Ah!! I almost forgot!" Kohana said grinning. "I could get another ring today!! Will you help me pick one out, Vincent?"

"Of course." Miyo replied getting up and and grabbing plates. "But you've done so much for us as well. For now you just relax, ok?"
"I should be the one helping out." Kikyo said getting up as well. "Vincent you did save us from those men. Who knows of what could have happen if you wasn't here."

Vincent closed his eyes and shook his head. "It was nothing," he said as he stood from his seat. "You girls are very important to me, and I couldn't see any of you get hurt. It's the least I can do for my family."
The Turk smiled and took the plates from Miyo's hands. "I insist I take these," he said while he headed to the kitchen. "Jiro! You help the girls, too!"

Jiro grunted as he took Kikyo's plate, the plates in front of her, and his. "Who does he think he is?" he mumbled on his way to the kitchen. "Why does everyone have to pick on me!"
"Cause I care!" Kikyo shouted and instantly covered her mouth. She gasped a little as she felt her own forehead taking a seat. "Did I just say that?"
"Yep we heard you." Kohana said playing with her rings. She looked up at Kikyo and whispered to her, "Someone's gotta crush on Jiro!!"
Kikyo's eyes widened and she blushed a little. "This feeling is weird. But I had it before with Inuyasha." she thought. "This feeling seems a bit stronger and it's like I can almost be myself. Wait I can't let Jiro get to me. I can't get hurt again."
The young priestess lowered her head and changed her gitty expression with blank one. Miyo noticed and smirked a little while she cleaned up the rest of the mess on the table. "You're going to give Jiro a hard time aren't you?" Miyo asked. Kikyo looked up and sighed. "The one that I loved before I thought he killed me, but it was someone that impersonated him to get something I should have destroyed when I got my hands on it."
"You died Kikyo?" Kohana asked a little puzzled. "But you look alive to me!"
"I did. But I thought it was the one I loved that killed me at the time. A witch revived me using my incarnation and I had the biggest grudge against the guy I wanted to be with." Kikyo said sighing a little. "I found out that it wasn't him but my enemy. He wanted a powerful jewel that I guarded so that he could gain more power. I was about to battle him before I was sucked into this world but I have no idea what's going to happen. But I do know that the one I cared for and his friends will stop my enemy."
"Well you don't have to hold back your feelings here Kikyo." Miyo said with a smile. "I'm sure that you can start over in this world and find someone special and close to you."

Vincent's ears perked as he listened in to the women's conversation. He sighed and lowered his head while cleaning the dishes alongside Jiro. "I know what she's endured," the Turk thought. He looked over to the dining area at the priestess sitting in a chair, and he then shifted his eyes over to a grumbling Jiro as he began to clean the dishes. The man smirked and lowered his head. "I'm certain love is closer than you think it is, Kikyo."
The Turk raised his head and after a few moments, he and Jiro had cleaned every dish and put it away in an orderly fashion. "Nice work, kid," Vincent said as he lightly tapped the young man on the back. "See? Don't you feel good knowing that you did something nice for once?"

"I don't know I guess it feels pretty good." Jiro replied as he looked at Vincent and shrugged. Inside he felt warm and liked the fact that he wasn't around all men and he had a nice place to stay and eat rather than the camp with cold grounds and watered-down soup. "I'd live here than that dirty camp anyday."
