The Village S1 (Rough Draft)

[Beebs]

Vincent's eye widened at the horrid scene that took place before him. His red eyes intensified and worry filled his soul. "Miyo," he said as his fists clenched and voice grew louder. "MIYO!! Kohana, come on! We'll come back later! Miyo needs me right now!"

The man grabbed the young girl by the hand and stomped through the mass of people. Rage and anger flooded Vincent Valentine as his eyes were fixed coldly on Yachi. As he swiftly made his way over to them, the Turk pulled his arm back and released a devastating blow to the man's jaw. Vincent did not fail to hold back and he exploded on Yachi. "If you ever touch Miyo again, I won't hold back next time," he said through his teeth as he pulled the man by the collar. "I will make sure that I kill you!"

Vincent released Yachi from his hold and his eyes softened as he looked upon Miyo. The Turk instinctively wrapped his arms around his love and held her tightly with a firm and loving hold. "Miyo, I'm here," the man said gently as he planted a tender kiss upon the young woman's ((MUHAHAHA)) forehead. "My God, that scared the hell out of me. I... I thought I lost you. Are you alright? Are you hurt?

[Beebs]

As a crowd circled around as Yachi fell to his knees as and fixed his jaw. "Damn, he's strong." the Fuwa leader thought. "It's going to be harder than I thought. Now I know more about his weakness, she'll be a little reluctant but she will be mine at the end. Even if I have to force her to love me."

"I'm ok Vincent." Miyo replied feeling safe in his arms. She looked up at him with her eyes watered a little and felt at ease again. "I'm so happy that you're here now. I was afraid that he was going to do something to me."


Suddenly, some of the Fuwa clan members came and helped Yachi up. "You'll pay for this man!" one of the members yelled at Vincent. Miyo pulled Kohana in closer as they looked at them in a despised manner. Another bandit gave them enraged looks as he took out his sword ready to fight.

"Wait a second!" a young male shouted in the crowd. Before the man could move toward Vincent, Miyo and Kohana, they all saw Jiro and Kikyo, now in village clothing, coming out of the crowd, hand in hand. Jiro walked up between the two groups and he looked at them weighting his options. He turned over to his clan members who seem to be shocked to see him alive and turned over to Miyo, Vincent, and Kohana who looked relived that the Fuwa cland didn't start anything. "Don't fight them because it would be a waste of your time." he said to Vincent as he turned over to the clan. "This is the wrong place and time to start something like this."

"Where's your colors Jiro?!" one bandit said looking puzzled. "You can't be siding with these people." another stated. "Enough!" Yachi yelled a little then lowered his voice saying, "This won't stop me. I'll get you Vincent and the one the that close to you. Let's go men."

[Beebs]

Vincent growled under his breath as he watched the Fuwa clan depart from the scene. After a few moments, the surrounding crowd scattered and went back to their business, leaving the small group alone once more. “Don’t worry Miyo; they won’t bother you as long as I’m around,” the man said softly to his beloved as he continued to hold her in his arms. “Everything’s going to be ok.”

The Turk raised his head and looked upon Jiro and Kikyo. “Thanks kid,” he said to Jiro as he offered the young man a nod. Vincent lowered his eyes and fixed them upon the couple’s interlocked hands. “Oh? ....Perhaps I missed something? Would you two care to explain what’s going on here?”

[Beebs]

"Well it's a pretty long story. I'll tell or better yet.." Jiro looked to Kikyo and placed his arm around her. "We'll tell you all the details."

The young priestess looked at Jiro then rolled her eyes as she noticed Kohana upset. "What's wrong Kohana?" She asked walking up to her. Miyo looked down and saw her sister upset as well then turned to Vincent asking him, "What happened?"

[Beebs]

Vincent lowered his eyes and rubbed the back of his neck. "We never got to buy Kohana her rings," the man said with a frown. The Turk sighed and knelt down to the young girl's level. "I'm so sorry, Kohana. I promised you that I'd get you those rings for your collection, and I failed to do that simple request for you. What kind of friend am I? I'm going to be a terrible brother."

[Beebs]

"No! You won't be! Miyo was in danger and you came to her rescue" Kohana said with her eyes widened giving Vincent a hug. "I would love you have a brother like you!"

"We can go get them now if you want to." Miyo said looking at them happily. "We can all go, together."

[Beebs]

Vincent smiled and returned the hug back to Kohana. "I would love having a sister like you, too," the man whispered in the young girl's ear. The Turk stood up from his kneeling position and put an arm around his love. "I'd love that, Miyo. We'll go as a family. How does that sound, Kohana?"

[Beebs]

"Well if you don't need us then we'll be on our way." Jiro said pulling Kikyo away again giving a wink. "We'll meet you all back at the house."

"That sounds great, Vincent." Kohana said with excitement. She waved bye to Jiro and Kikyo as she pulled Miyo and Vincent back to Jewels. "Where did Arnia go?" He asked.

"I'm not sure," Miyo replied, "Maybe she went after Yachi."

"Ah! Welcome back friends!!" Jewels interrupted while helping someone else. "I saved those rings for you Kohana and that discount is still good, if you want to use it."

"Oh yeah!" Kohana said looking up to Vincent then glanced at Miyo. "Do you still want to do that 'thing' you said?"

[Beebs]

The man gave the young girl a broad smile and he let out a small laugh. "I believe so," Vincent said as he pulled out his wallet once more. A sly look crossed the Turk's face as he turned to his love. "Miyo, do you see anything to your liking? Any piece of jewelry to your taste?" He looked to Kohana and gave her a wink.

[Beebs]

Not realizing Kohana and Vincent's secretive motives, Miyo smiled and looked at each piece of jewelry and studied the colors, shapes, sizes, and styles of each one. "Wow all of these look so exotic and exorbitant." she thought. "They all look beautiful but I don't know which one I would choose."

After a few moment she came across a necklace....

...and she lightly touched it before moving on to the rest. Kohana tugged on Vincent's shirt, letting him know that the necklace was the one Miyo favored the most. "They all look delightful but I couldn't let you buy me any of this." Miyo said appreciative of the gesture. An elderly woman presented herself to Miyo with a list of things needed for her family. "Kohana you get your rings and I'll talk to this lady here."


Meanwhile, the Fuwa clan finally made it back to their camp where some of the members were questioning about their leader and what happened. Rumors of what happened were in the air as Ryo changed his clothes and thought about today.

"I let my guard down." Ryo said aloud taking hold of a katana he used before he absorbed Samuru. He looked at himself in a mirror and sighed. "Miyo was sparked something in me especially when I touched her. Why do I have all these feelings? How come I can't say focus?"

Looking at his face in the mirror, the Fuwa leader felt confused about what he wanted and what was expected from him. Suddenly, after he blinked, Samuru, the demon appeared replacing Ryo's reflection. "It's the girl, you fool." Samuru replied. "You know you can't live without me but you decide to do things without thinking anyway. You know who the guy is and you were right there to take his energy!"

"I know but-"

"NO excuses!" the demon cutting the man off and thinning his eyes at him. Samuru's power filled Ryo's blood as he started to corrupt the man's mind and almost took full control his body. "I-I mean we don't have much time. Get a hold of yourself and your men. Take the energy away from Vincent and kill anyone that gets in your way."

"Sir, your men need an explanation of what happened today." a young man said stepping inside Ryo's tent. The Fuwa leader gave the man an icy look and looked at himself in the mirror again as his assistant continued. "I-I would advise you to say something to them before they start up something."

"Fine. During dinner I'll make a statement." Ryo growled rubbing his temples. "Tell them that if they say anything else before then, I'll make sure that they never talk again."

[Beebs]

While Miyo turned her back in the opposite direction, it was Vincent's perfect chance to purchase the necklace that she had favored among Jewels' collection. But he had promised Kohana that he would purchase the two golden rings for her first, and he promptly handed the saleswoman the money for the two rings. As the Turk handed the young girl the newly purchased pieces of jewelry, his eyes were fixed upon the necklace that his love had chosen.

"How much for the necklace?" he asked Jewels in a soft whisper to prevent Miyo from listening in. The man pulled out several gold coins from his wallet and presented them to the jeweler. "Would this cover it?"

Vincent shifted his eyes about for a moment and he looked down at the young girl standing beside him. "Do you like your new rings, Kohana?" he asked her with a smile.

[Beebs]

"Of course!! They're the best ones yet." Kohana said giving Vincent a tight hug. She placed the rings in Vincent's hand and close it. "Thank you thank you so much!! Can you hold them for me? Miyo holds my rings after I get them because she said that I'll lose them."

"Yeah we almost lost the other one last time." Miyo said turning back around and looking at her list. She nodded in approval looked up at the two. "So which rings did you buy this time?"

[Beebs]

Vincent let out a short gasp as Miyo turned around and he carefully slipped the newly bought necklace in his pocket. The man expressed a cool and calm face and he held out his hand to reveal the two identical rings he had just purchased for Kohana. "Here they are," the Turk said with a smile as the rings glistened in the midday sunlight.

While the young woman looked at the two rings, Vincent slyly placed a finger over his mouth and glanced over at the girl standing beside him. He let out a small laugh and quickly calmed down. "Like them?" the Turk asked his love as he placed a hand over his pocket.

[Beebs]

"Oh these are really pretty." Miyo said taking one of them in her hand. She studied the detail and placed in back in Vincent's hand. "Wonderful choice Kohana! What made you choose those?"

"You two." Kohana said smiling. "It was a pair so it made me think about you and Vincent. Funny huh!?"

Miyo looked up at the Turk and placed her hand in his. "More like destiny." she said smiling. Her stomach grumbled a little as she looked down at it. "Um.. maybe we should eat before we leave this place. What do you all say?"

[Beebs]

Vincent replied with a parallel smile and a nod. The Turk gently placed the two rings in his pocket and ensured that they would be safe. "That sounds great, Miyo," he said gently. The man looked down at the young girl and placed a hand on her shoulder. "How about it, Kohana? How about something to eat?"

[Beebs]

"Yeah, and we could finally sit down too." Kohana replied pulling Vincent and Miyo to a table. Suddenly she spotted Jiro and Kikyo at a table sitting side by side and started running up to them. "Ah ha!! There you two are!"

"Well yes we are!" Jiro said with a grin looking over to Miyo and Vincent. "Is everything ok? Did you get those rings?"

Kohana nodded and sat down in front of them. "So how long you two been sitting here? Did you get some food for us?"

"We've been here for a while." Kikyo said with a smile. "With all the food Jiro ordered from the stand, he could feed all of us twice!"

[Beebs]

"Is that so?" Vincent asked as he pulled out a chair for Miyo and offered her a gentle smile. The man crossed his arms and sat himself next to his love. "Well, that sounds rather... kind for Jiro do that. Kikyo, I think you should feel his forehead. I think there's something wrong with him!" The Turk smirked and let out a small laugh.

[Beebs]

Jiro raised his eyebrow and looked at the man like he was crazy. "That food was for me." he said to Vincent. Kikyo playfully hit him saying, "Stop joking so much."

"Is this flirting I see??!" Miyo said looking at the two. A second later her stomach called out to the food that just arrived. "Wow, I better eat before my stomach gets angry. You all should too."

[Beebs]

The Turk smirked and kept his head up with his hand leaning on the table. "That sounds good, but I think I can wait," Vincent said as he closed his eyes. "I've gone for days without any food, so I think I'll wait until dinner or so."

Suddenly, the man's stomach emitted a loud grumble, and his eyes opened wide as he looked down. "Maybe a little food won't hurt," Vincent said as he sheepishly grinned and let out a small laugh. He instantly glanced at a bit of meat on the table while his mouth began to water, and he shifted his eyes about to see who would be the first to eat. "Well then, enjoy."

[Beebs]

Jiro looked at everyone then started grabbing food. "What are you all waiting for? Luckily I'm a nice person, y'know sharing all of my food."


"You know, we both saw everyone from a distance and order for them." Kikyo said shaking her head turning to Kohana who was eating. "So did you get your rings? What ever happened to Arnia?"

Miyo looked a Vincent then down at Kohana who said, "Yep I got them and Vincent pulled me away and when we came back Arnia was gone."

"Do you think she has something planned with Yachi?" Miyo asked aloud. She turned her head and noticed the same butterfly from her dream and the one in the forest. It fluttered around from a distance before flying off, suddenly giving her a flashback of her dream and other shadow disappearing. ((errr I hope that happened the first time lol)) "That butterfly and my dream again. What does that all mean?" Miyo thought. "I hope that it doesn't happen again. I hope it doesn't mean more trouble..."
